My parcel got damaged in transit. 5 days on, I'm still waiting to hear from them for an update via email. I had a web chat with them on 3 occasions, absolutely useless. Apparently, in my case the depot disposes the parcel without letting me know. Atrocious!

Hermes are completely useless, this is the 3rd time I've had to deal with this, and I've only used them 3 times.. On this third occasion I wasn't aware the seller was sending it through Hermes, I wouldn't of bothered if I knew.

Dodgy, Shoddy and Totally Unreliable. Steer Well Clear! Do not use this company! They have gone down the pan in terms of reliability and service. They lost my last package without even attempting to deliver it. Their online updates went from stating ‘being processed’ to ‘ being returned to the sender ’ who never received it back. Now several weeks on the sender and I are still trying to sort out a claim for their mishandling. Their customer service is also very poor and the sender told me they were pretty rude and unhelpful on more than one occasion regarding their mess up!! The parcel I received before this one, they just left outside my door in a public walkway. Online claimed they had left it securely in an outbuilding?? A public outdoor communal walkway of a large block of flats is not a secure outbuilding. Pure luck I was back before anyone else had swiped it. A tiny parcel before that one took nearly two weeks to arrive, basic RM second class post would’ve been five times faster! A few months ago they were fine and there was a regular delivery driver in my area of central London who was great, but that seems to have all disappeared...like my last parcel!

1 star is 1 too many. Dreadful customer service well you can't call it that because there is none!!! MAYBE CHEAP PRICES AREN'T THE BEST!! BET YOU DON'T PUBLISH THIS!!!

I wouldn't even give them a star. I wanted to send a package and I thought Hermes were a BIG name in the delivery industry. So I gave them a go! And that's the first and last time. Apparently the driver got lost and didn't know where my address was to collect the parcel. 4 days I waited in as it didn't specify when they would pick it up then I get onto live chat after 2 days the guy says it'll be collected tomorrow. Why I ask didn't he call? Then I get onto my Hermes today again via live chat because the phone unless you want to arrange delivery just cuts you off to be told it's with the accounts department and they are investigating it. WORD OF ADVISE DO NOT USE THEM! It's not worth the time or hassle

Zero stars for you delivery company. The courier left my parcel over the side gate in the rain, even after I called customers service to let them know that I will be on holiday when they supposed to deliver my order and the lady I have spoken with over the phone has assured me that my parcel will be delivered in a secure location. Not even a call or message to letting me know that they left it outside even when they knew that I'm not home. It's this named a secure location when the courier leaves the parcel outside, in the rain where easily could be stolen by anyone as the gate can not be locked? It's so ridiculous. Complete lack of customers care. Shame on you if you don't care about us, customers.

Worst delivery company I have ever used. I have had problems with them every time I have an ordered an item, I contacted them 5 days in a row on chat after my 1 day delivery from amazon was late and I received a different, conflicting excuse/reason everyday - The one positive I can take from this is that I will now ensure I ask companies who they use for delivery to ensure I don't ever have the displeasure of dealing with them again.

Completely unreliable! Never trust a company that isn't upfront enough to give out its telephone number. I sat in for two days waiting for them to collect a parcel (I cannot drive). "Live Chat Help" was incredibly unhelpful and gave my telephone number to the driver to try to resolve and when he did show up he was in a CAR and I clearly entered the weights and sizes of my parcels when I booked and paid. ANOTHER delay to get a small van out to me. In total 3 days to resolve. I sat home for three days from 8-8pm trying to get what I PAID for! Complete lack of customer care!

I live on the Isle of Man and Sue Sinclair delivers parcels to me and she is very helpful and very polite. She must be an asset to your company.

MyHermes (Hermes) Courier Stole My Parcel... I sold some HP Toners on ebay and used MyHermes to deliver them. I paid using my creditcard in the shop - what they refer to a local distribution centre. So far so good, the tracking of the toners went from local distribution centre to area and national distribution centres. At the delivery end the courier could see the package were original HP Toners and stole them all. A (blank) photo was taken as proof of delivery which tells you absolutely nothing, to cover their tracks the courier parked is van near the delivery address. but NO DELIVERY! I complained to MyHermes and it took several complaints over several weeks over the phone, email and online support chat to even speak to someone and get MyHermes to actually acknowledge the fact that my parcel was hot delivered. Eventually Hermes did an investigation, all my support calls where marked as closed because the courier said to customer services the case was closed. Eventually it was escalated for investigation and Hermes said they have contacted the courier and he said he delivered the toners. They checked the van had it was in the area of the delivery so case closed. Sorry but we cannot determine if my package was delivered or not delivered so there is nothing further we can do, so we're closing the case. Good bye. Thank you Hermes for being no help whatsoever and not bothering to actually investigate properly, because you don't know how to. I refunded the buyer on ebay the full amount including postage, almost £100 and I am offered £20 for my troubles and lost my toners by Hermes. MyHermes obviously do not check their couriers, in fact their couriers are nothing but thieves. In future I will be using another company! Never, ever, will I use these thieving cowboys in future.

Hermes delivery driver refused to deliver my "click and collect" flooring insulation, parcel to the Goods In dept at Argos. When asked to do so he had a stroppy fit, and took my parcel away back to the depot. Hermes csc then advised me that I would have to rearrange redelivery myself. Shocking service. Threatened them with legal action for taking a contract they did not then fufill, and THEN they stepped up to the plate !!!! By that time I had had to purchase insulation locally at more expense to myself. I will NEVER use Hermes to send a parcel. Ian Cunningham

My parcel was delivered to the wrong address from day 1 I have been called a liar from their customer services to the field manager to the delivery driver who is adamant he delivered the parcel to me. Would not meet me face to face. 5 days later I got my parcel which had been delivered to 6 doors up. After being called a liar Hermes field manager and delivery driver refusing to apologise to me. If my parcel was delivered to a different neighbour or street I would be £150 out of pocket as all Hermes said it had been signed for. Shame it was not signed by from me.

Using My Hermes is more trouble than it is worth! They really do need to improve on their after sales and customer service. It is near on impossible to communicate with anyone. Every email I sent was returned as undelivered and I was constantly cut off on the telephone without being able to speak with anybody. I paid for my returns parcel label and they omitted to attach it to my confirmation email, so something that was their error is still not resolved some three days later!

I'm sorry but the service you provide seems to be a joke. I've been waiting all day yesterday for collection,of course a lady on a chat told me it's too late to do anything as it was 8pm and then I got an email from you this morning saying that your courier will collect my parcel today for sure. Around 9:30 pm another person on chat told me the courier will surely come today. It's nearly 9pm,I'm still with the parcel. Don't tell me to leave it in save place,I have nothing like this and I won't leave it with neighbors who are home less than me. Not to mention that I choose a day that suits me with collection. I paid for that service additional charge. What is wrong with you people? You don't respect your customers at all. It's a third time. I won't be sending anything with you anymore. It's ridiculous. Seriously,I stuck at home coz you tell noting but lies and want me to wait for no one. Thanks very much for wasting my time.

Worst company ever delivery drivers are rude and they lie about not getting access to collect packages avoid this company like the plague! I will never be using them again absolute disgrace of a company!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

First time my parcel was taken back undelivered but no reason given. No email or anything. Only found out that it had been returned when I contacted retailer to find out why I hadn't received my order after a week. Reordered the same things and paid £6.50 for next day delivery. Still waiting 3 days later. Retailer I bought from can't get anywhere with Hermes either as regards information. Total waste of my time and money. Will never again order from a company that uses Hermes for delivery
