Awful experience - paid over £165 for clothing as part of Christmas. My parcel was due to be delivered when I was not home. I did not give permission for Hermes to leave my £165 parcel with anyone apart from myself. They ended up leaving it with a random person in my stair. ( under the name of Claire ) even though there is no one in my stair called Claire.... they then tell me there’s nothing they can do for me as they delivered it , again without my permission to do so. It even states in the law below: ( which they broke the rules and procedures) Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you’re responsible for making sure my order is delivered to me at my address or to an agreed alternative safe place. I did not agree to my order being left in an alternative place and I have not received it” “If you bought something from a business to be delivered, it’s the seller’s responsibility to make sure the item is delivered to you. If the seller used a courier, they should chase the courier to find out what’s happened to your order - it’s not your responsibility. If the seller claims they've delivered it or don't know where it is, you can ask for a redelivery or a refund “ “If your item wasn't delivered to the location you agreed, it's the seller's legal responsibility to sort out the issue. You can ask them to redeliver your item. You can ask for a full refund” You, Hermes the courier, have delivered my parcel to a place I did not give permission for. I have done nothing but place an order and pay for it to turn up to my house, no where else. There was also no e signature, no card.

I am absolutely furious. Having used Hermes on numerous occasions they have let me down so very badly and unbeknown to me the problem has been ongoing for many deliveries at this particular address. However on this latest consignment the delivery has gone very badly wrong. The package was found thrown over the garden fence in the pouring rain, according to the tracking at 12.02pm. It was picked up at 17.20pm, some five plus hours later. There was someone in the property at the time but no attempt had been made to alert the occupier and no notification, i.e. card, was left or made, even though a phone number had been logged for alert. This package contained expensive literary items and while sufficiently wrapped, in the constant pouring rain seeping through ruined them. I later learnt deliveries had been left at this particular address in the same manner but I had remained uninformed of the situation. This consignment has left me in no doubt Hermes have a real problem with their delivery drivers and needs urgent investigation. While insurance cover was paid, (at extra charge) it in no way replaces the damaged items. Regardless of the Coronavirus state, with no signature being required they are allowed to get away with this. It has to STOP now. Damage limitation of apologies is NOT enough.

If Hermes was a company operating in the United States they would have long ago been subject to a 'Class Action' lawsuit by their many angry customers and sued into oblivion for their dire service...alas here in the UK we have a very limited scope to do the same meaning Hermes can get away with their shoddy practices and service without consequence! As for me, a close friend sent via Hermes a package containing personal gifts on the 6th of October. He sent me the tracking link allowing me to follow the 'progress' of this parcel. I say 'progress'...6 DAYS after they took the package and after daily cryptic updates about its ongoing progress (not where actually is) I get the update everybody who has had use these cowboys dread: "We're sorry your parcel has been delayed, we'll have it on the move in the next 24 hours". The system later updates that day to: "Your parcel is at our local depot and on its way to you" - my thoughts like most being "which depot?" The one it was sent from or the one close to where I live? Since the 13th the 'parcel tracking' system defaulted back to sulking with: "We're sorry your parcel has been delayed, we'll have it on the move in the next 24 hours" and it hasn't changed since! Where is my parcel? Who knows...is it at an auction house somewhere...maybe. Will I ever see this parcel ? Probably never! To add insult to injury the local Hermes delivery partner 'Highland Parcels' are diabolical meaning even if my parcel makes it from Hermes to their sorting depot in Inverness I am not out of the woods yet. There is one silver lining in all this due to living in Scotland...the Scottish Government brought the ability to raise Class Actions into Scottish law this year meaning at least for Scottish consumers we will be able to start the process of actually getting some redress from this utter disaster of a company!

Absolute shambles of a company that are not willing to pick up a phone when something goes wrong with drivers that are not actually willing to deliver to your address and claim that package has been signed for although you have been in all day waiting for delivery. No delivery. Wasted money. No help

I was at work when Hermes delivered. They left my valuable parcel in plain sight on my front door step. An open invitation to a thief! so careless.

Absolutely terrible delivery company, every time something is delivered by them the packaging is either destroyed or open an contents are broken too, also there time scale on delivery is bullsh1t, say they have attempted delivery when they haven't an just leave parcels at a collection centre without telling you where they are, an some parcels just end up at Birmingham auction house without even been tried to if been delivered. Total joke of a company. If you could give minus stars it would have several.

Allegedly tried to deliver my parcel three times, yet no calling card left. No one HUMAN, to be able to talk to, in order to try to retrieve my parcel. Only a bloody robot, telling me my parcel was now being refiners to sender. More companies nowadays will offer a delivery time slot and would most certainly leave a calling card if delivery was missed. But not you guys. Highly disappointed and frustrated with the less than adequate service.

I sent a parcel to my daughter things for her first flat. Item where missing from the parcel, my daughter was convinced I had not put them in, I was sure I had I turn the house upside down. But by some devine intervention one of the item turned up by a hermes dilevry. I had qraped the item in bubble wrap and then place this item in a next bag which had my address on from a delivery from next, I question my daughter about the state of the box she stated that it was bashes about but had loads of brown tape on it. I had used clear tape on the parcel. So I now have a brocken item and 5 other item that are missing. I can not get to speak to anyone. Iam disgusted disappointed and very upset the item where not worth alot but had great sentimental value and I was passing these onto my daughter. I dont know what to do or who to talk to so I am leaving this for others I would hate this to happen to anyone else. What can I do the item have jumped out of a sealed box one has made its way back to me broken at a loss to know what to do next. There is no customer support you just can not get to talk to anyone. As for Holly I really don't know who programed her. I will shout from the roof tops regarding sending parcels with hermes it a no go.

Hermes are pathetic . I was waiting for a parcel which was being delivered on 08/10/20 between 12.00 and 15.00 hrs . When by 15.30 not delivered I had to chat with "holly the chat bot !!" Told they had to contact the local team . They said it had been delivered to my safe place and sent a photograph of my parcel on someone else's gatepost -nowhere I knew !! Next morning 9.00 am the very kind person whose house it was at kindly brought it to my house . Parcel correctly addressed but delivered to a totally different address half a mile away .at today's date 12/10/20 I still have not had a reason why it had gone to a totally different address -Absolute rubbish never again !!

Absolutely god awful. Never deliver on time, and when they completely fail to deliver they set the delivery to "unable to deliver because you weren't in". We've seen 4 different Hermes drivers over the past 6 months park up in front of our house, wait for 10 seconds, then drive off without even having attempted a delivery, and then mark it as us not being in, despite the fact that I work from home all day every day. I wouldn't trust these incompetent liars to post a postcard let alone with important packages. Utterly disgraceful sham of an operation.

Possibly the worst delivery company, ever? As you can already see from the rating, sending a parcel with MyHermes is simply a waste of time. Not only have they lost several of my packages, but when you try and speak to an agent to get some answers, it is impossible. Any other courier company will deliver 99.9% of packages without issue. I would be very surprised if MyHermes could manage 0.1% without either abandoning it somewhere they "assume" is the correct address, or simply losing or breaking it. Each and every time I've had the misfortune to deal with this company, I have a bad experience. DO NOT USE.

Hermes is so untrustworthy. I am standing at my door waiting for my parcels to arrive. I received a notification that my parcel was delivered. The parcel is not here, no one has been here and I've been trying to get in touch with them. I will never recommend them to anyone.
