Unreliable deliveries, useless customer service, delivery drivers lie about deliveries, parcels disappear, persistent problems. Probably the worst delivery company.

Absolutely disgusted you cannot speak to person. The courier damaged our wall and did a hit and run and to top it off twice given a mask and refused to deliver parcels to apartments and went off after been given a mask. Very ignorant person that does not want to work.

I specifically didn’t put in a safe place so that the parcel doesn’t get destroyed in the rain or for it to be left with a neighbour. It has been left behind the bin in the garden instead 🤦🏼‍♀️ Useless...

We have sent out hundreds of parcels with Hermes. 2 went wrong. The first one, they damaged. Eventually, after hours - no days - of work we finally had our claim paid. This time they have damaged and destroyed a spanner - it's all there on the tracking records. How the f they managed to damage a spanner is beyond me. Now I can't get past Holly, the digital assistant. When I try to get a claim form I'm sent round in circles until I end up back with Holly. When claiming for damage they won't help unless you send photos. THEY DAMAGED IT. I don't have this parcel and neither does the recipient. Last time i just sent family photos (as, again, Hermes still had my damaged parcel). WHY DO THEY MAKE IT SO DIFFICULT.

Sold an item on eBay. Posted in good faith on 24th Sept, item still not delivered now the 4th Oct. Worse still, can't contact Hermes to talk about it. Very frustrating. Will never use again.

Parcel was due Friday between 6pm-8pm and was never delivered. Apparently I had received a card as I did not answer the door but I did not receive any card and I still next to the front door...there was no knock! So they say its being delivered on Saturday between 4pm and 6pm...well its 9pm and still no parcel. No card and no help line available. Can only imagine the courier is lying about trying to deliver as they would like to get home early!!! Absolutely DISGRACEFUL customer service and an all around horrific company. Its crazy that such reputable companies still use Hermes despite their reviews and history of providing awful services.

What a terrible courier service. Advised firstly that they had delivered my parcel via text. Then denied when asked as I didn’t get the parcel , and said they didn’t deliver one . Now saying they did deliver! Two out of 3 parcels they left on my doorstep . Why would they , so that they can get stolen? Or are they the ones taking them . I will avoid all companies that use Hermes as a courier. Con Artists.

Awful. As per usual my parcel is now two days late. This time for a birthday.. I honestly do not know how this company stays in business. I am for future going to contact every retailer I buy from and not order if they deliver as I do firmly believe them to be that bad. Why say something and not be able to do it?? You will damage companies reputation. I honestly just can not believe how they run. The reviews must be paid for as I seriously doubt people have a good service with this company. I've had one delivery left on my doorstep whist I was out. No care, no service, no parcel!! And don't get me started on there online service, or I should say complete lack of it.

Hermes strikes again! 😡 The WORST courier service I’ve ever encountered. The delivery person failed to even ring the doorbell and kindly left my parcel in the rain and so my purchase has received extensive water damage. I would happily pay additional costs to NOT use Hermes, every time I have used them in the past it is the exact same awful delivery service!

Constantly saying they have tried to deliver my parcel,but I wasn't in at the time,or some other rubbish which is a complete and utterly blatant lie. Why do companies keep using Hermes? It baffles me. Literally the worst delivery service in history.

I have not received the parcel they say was delivered on September 22nd. It is impossible to speak to anyone human at Hermes. I received an e mail a week ago saying that their team are looking at it . Having come across so many complaints about Hermes on the internet,I feel they are an unreliable delivery service. E bay sellers should not use them.

This is a horror movie the experience of a shipment with this company ... never wait for the package to be picked up because they will never arrive that day, three days later you call again for collection and wait again 12 hours and they do not arrive , ..... what you pay cheap you get cheap treatment But not only that ... see the Web page and compare with the phone calls they contradict. Never believe when you call that they are going to pick up the package ... in my experience of a 38 minute wait to tell them that the driver would arrive at the last pick-up time ... that is, 7pm to 8pm but I have already waited 10 hours and more. The interesting thing is that they will not pick up your package that day or the next day ... you have paid for the service so you have to take it to a store where on some occasions they stack it in dirty conditions and without hygiene where rats break the boxes and at all times no one responds for the damage caused ... THINK BEFORE SENDING BY THIS COMPANY

The issue that I have experienced was: they have sent (17th, September 2020) a box with 2 iPhones 6,7 and 2 iPhone chargers, they cost more than 400 pounds. They never called me, or tell me anything unless I called them, the staff and the manager called lain Miller and told me that they lost the item because I didn't buy Insurance, I lost the item that is my fault at all, not the fault. because i didn't know about sending stuff, or anything about insurance now i have to claim money back is £20. that's it. even the money i spent to send extra money for signature. i asked them i don't want the money back. I want my phones back. they said nothing they can do about this. they only give me £20 back if i claim. It occurred on: 2/10/2020 This meant that now I have nothing. no phones no chargers. I don't have phones to give people I promised them. now I am a liar to people I wanted to give them phones. its cost me money, times, trust. angry. I feel like to use the services like a begging them to ask my right. they told me that was my fault. not they fault to lose the item. something like to choose use their service is my phone. they don't any responsible if i don't pay more money. they made me feel like i am very stupid because i put the trust in them, i want them to find my item and send for me, or pay me £400 so I can buy phones and chargers. or give me the item back. and the main thing is the manager and the staff who spoke to me before to apologise to me because I trust them and used the services and they blame me told m,e that all my fault

I am still awaiting a parcel that should of arrived to day, no signs of it being in local depot. This happens every time. Why quote a delivery date if they have no intention of full filling there part! The last 4/5 parcels have been the same Hermes is useless.

Terrible experience with this company - not the first time. Like to lie a lot! Email said no one in to take delivery. Here all day, working doorbell, dog that barks at every sound. Live on quiet lane so see/hear all traffic. On checking tracking it says driver having difficulty finding address - timed about same as email. I do not know why companies use Hermes when it impacts so badly on their own customer service. Item was dog food - dog no dinner tonight unless drive 9 miles return to town to get some . I am 80 years old and trying to keep away from crowded places.
