A dreadful company. Parcels not delivered consistently. Parcels continuously left in random places and no card left as to give you any clue where it might be. Customer service as useful as a statue of the pope covered in custard. Random signatures attached to email confirmations with my name on it!!! Avoid at all costs.

Reluctant to even give 1 star... shocking service. I ordered from Amazon and was expecting delivery 10 Dec.. nothing. The online tracker said it was delivered on 10 Dec at 18.49 to the Reception Desk.. strange as the delivery address doesn't have a Reception Desk and the business was closed at that time. Hermes insistent the parcel was delivered. After waiting 2 hours for an online chat, my complaint was escalated to, well no-one as I didn't receive a response. Another 90 mins on the online chat and I finally received an email saying they were contacting the area manager for more information. Strange then that the parcel miraculously arrived on Tues 18 December. It had been opened and was damaged.. Thanks Hermes. Appalling customer service, no real way of contacting anyone (probably on purpose), useless online chat facility.. stay away.

Apparently tried to deliver an item at precisely 22.04!!! after having it all day long NO THEY DID NOT and they I have to wait 24 hours for an other attempt, it didn’t happen in the first place. Lying third rate joke of a pathetic so called courier company.

2 parcels lost and untraceable according to Hermes ( second one after retailer sent a duplicate)... customer service rubbish after being number 436 in wait list on live chat ,would NEVER use Hermes out of choice

Claim to have tried to deliver .. husband works from home with 2 dogs at home too, there is no way we were out or didn’t hear them. They did not ‘try to deliver’... no card so it’s just a lie. Not the first time either. Rubbish.. as others have said no way to contact them so felt the need to share my review.

The worst, most unreliable delivery service, a deceitful, hopeless and dishonest mess of a company who just don't deserve to be in business Avoid at ALL cost and sadly that means avoiding the Internets favorite online shop as they exclusively use this miserable service. Two parcels "lost" in the past week, apparently they were delivered, just lies and more lies.

DON'T use this company. They lost my parcel.is raised a complaint. They closed my case and not responding to my emails. My parcels was never delivered.They even ask me to proof that the parcel was not delivered They don't even deserve a star. BE VERY SCARED OF THIS COMPANY. I WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.A COLLEAGUE FORWARDED WATCH DOG PROGRAMME ON THIS COMPANY AND I AM DEVASTATED THAT THEY ARE STILL TRAINING.

Item damaged in transit, no refund... i have to admit that they never lost a parcel. I read that they are bad with customer service and they are very tight with issuing a refund but i did not take it seriously until it happened to me. lost quite a bit of money on this occasion as the bowl of the item i have send and which was wrapped to be bomb proof arrived in pieces. so strange that i have seen someone close to where i lived how he was transfering the parcels from his house to his car, being thrown from one another and some ending up being shattered to the floor. Customer service: in the chat option got asked if was glass {mine was plastic}, it was taking ages to answer to every message,got an answer within the 14 days and mentioning that i am not covered for this item. when you look in the list of the items that you are not covered, is not worth sending pretty much anything with hermes. Very very disappointed hermes

Haven’t attempted to deliver my parcels Christmas presents for my kids and a squiggle and a line we’re passed off as my husbands signature absolutely shocking complete cowboys dpd all the way

We live in Bishops Castle and our regular delivery man is very reliable, happy and helpful. Today he arrived and was dressed in a Santa hat & jacket. It brought a smile to my face.

The worst service ever, 10 days and still counting for the delivery of my package to a client, I have been told to wait 48 hours twice and have been given dates of delivery to never come. I will never use this service again. Very unhappy.

hermes have a parcel which needs to be signed for. Im not at home during the day as im at work... Never mind, this would normally mean that i go pick it up from a depot nearby.. Not with this lot. I cant have it sent to a pick up point or contact them directly to discuss.. please try yourself. so christmas present not arriving and i have to ask all sellers not to use Hermes as they are not ready for the big wide world yet. Is it they dont care or is it they are stupid?

Everything went wrong from a simple collection of a parcel and delivery of the same! Worst company I have ever dealt with. Firstly there are no contact details like tel numbers so you can't actually speak to anyone! Secondly after waiting half an hour on line (4 times now) to "Chat" to an operator they can't answer your question anyway if it's not on their script! I was promised faithfully a telephone call within 24 hrs from a Manager and 4 days later still waiting!! Hermes courier has either stolen my parcel as it was marked as delivered to safe place (I don't have a safe place or authorised one) they then backtracked and said it was out for delivery Mon 10th Dec, now Mon 17th Dec still nothing and no contact. Hermes only solution is contact the retailer for a refund, as the goods are now out of stock what use is that now and why should I have to chase around when I've done nothing wrong? Hermes deserve minus stars if you could mark them. I have worked in retail for 40 yrs and never dealt with a company so poor,they should be shut down! Absolute disgrace.............. Do not use this company, avoid at all costs. Hope this saves any other customers the heartache of non delivery!

perhaps the worst customer care that I have ever come across. Impossible to contact - the only way is a live chat and the few times that I tried that I was 500th in a queue. Maybe cheap but if something goes wrong you are on your own -really not worth the risk in using them

Item ordered 2/12/18, received by Hermes 4/12/18. Expected delivery a week ago, tracker says tried to deliver they didn't. Various updates have been put on tracker, none that have found to be of any use to me. The most laughable is the parcel has been relabelled at their sorting office - the sorting office in Germany, I live in Middlesex, UK. I cannot chase Hermes as I'm the buyer and only the seller can chase. The seller has my money and isn't interested in chasing. Bad news, one unhappy granddaughter this Christmas as that parcel is lost somewhere else in the world. Still waiting with little hope of it arriving in time

It's about time this company had some of it's own medicine. We ordered a parcel (Xmas presents for daughter) via 'Global Shipping' from the USA - everything was going smoothly with regular updates up until the point it was handed over to Hermes here in the UK on the 5th Dec - this is the last scanning point. I contacted Hermes with my tracking number on the 13th to check the status of delivery only to be told the parcel is "deemed as lost". It's amazing the amount of people you talk to who have had similar experiences with this delivery company. I will NEVER use Hermes again, and will now in future ask sellers NOT to use Hermes to deliver my goods. Terrible service. How can they lose a large parcel with clearly written address / code!? Stolen? Mmmmm
