Hermes are so annoying. The only thing they do consistently is lie. I thought I’d just check the tracker only to find they, apparently, the driver just attempted delivery at 8:13am whilst I was sitting with a coffee with a clear view of the road where not a single vehicle passed. Furthermore, there is a concierge where parcels can be dropped off, so I know a delivery was not attempted. Surely, Hermes managers need to review the logistics team. This is unacceptable, it’s not like the service they are providing is free. It’s rude to have people waiting and in some cases taking day off. What a sorry state of affairs!

Bought an item from Ebay, the seller used Hermes. The courier lied about delivering it , never attended my home, I was there all day. They Stole the parcel. Ebay refuse to refund as does the seller because Hermes say they have delivered it. As an Honest buyer that has paid for an order to be delivered, I am now out if pocket and no parcel. DON'T ring their customer helpline it is a PREMIUM rate number, you will be Charged for enquiring about the whereabouts if your parcel they have Stolen or Lost. Hermes Refuse to compensate for the Loss of parcel or Premium rate calls. They do not tell you how to contact them Free of charge. The way to contact them Free of cgarge is by email. The address us : Customer.relations@Hermes-europe.co.uk If you attempt to enquire about a missing ebay delivery on Live Chat it will Reject you and tell you to contact the high st retailer. The seller on ebay will not help as they say the parcel has been delivered. Quite a Scam they are operating. Courier drivers that lie about deliveries and presumably steal your parcel. I say Steal as the courier refuses to respond to Hermes. Then you are subjected to further call charges, kept on hold, told to call back. Insulted and lied to. They should be called HERPES not HERMES. Avoid at all cost and use a reputable company. This is a True and Accurate description of a series of events I experienced.

I could not receive my parcel even though I waited at my house for hours on all 3 occasions and the only customer service I was offered was from the retailer.

It is the worst Delivery Company ever! I shop online for ages and I have tried any company and never had any issue as with Hermes. For twice I was expecting a really important and urgent delivery, to collect it I have been waiting at home the all day, and for both of the times they stated the delivery was attempted but no one was there. If they truly came, they would have left a card to prove it, but obviously nothing was left. To find out the delivery status you need to keep checking the tracking since they do not send any update on it. Their Live Chat ''Customer Service''is even more appalling! If you want to get your parcels safely, be sure first they will not be delivered by Hermes.

Your local Couriers are deliberately sabotaging my Delivery service by returning all Parcels to sellers without even attempting to deliver them first. This has been going on for more than two months and I have raised complaints with MyHermes and so have the Sellers on my behalf yet no action has been taken by Hermes head office and your agents continue to return my parcels. I have lost discounts on items bought in the Sales because of this and you still do nothing. The Agent was rude to another tenant at my address who has a medical condition and who was slow in moving to answer the door. Hermes are allowing their agents to do as they please with any accountability for their actions by MyHermes. They sabotaged Christmas for a sick person who couldn’t leave the house by returning all their Christmas gifts, taking out a personal vendetta against them. The sooner big companies take their business away from MyHermes the better. I would give 0 stars if that was possible as your customer service has proved to be none existent. I will take this complaint to all methods of media if MyHermes continue to do nothing to resolve this situation.

Useless, my advice is check with your retailer what courier company they use, if they use Hermes then find a different retailer and save yourself the heartache.

I have to say most of the time Hermes are good, but on occasion they don't deliver on service, and I am now quite annoyed about it. I often receive tracking info that is useless. This has happened several times, in fact I have to ask customers if they have received parcels, (and not all people are honest,) this leaves me open to theft! Current tracking result example: Mon 31 Dec 13:07 (delivered), Mon 31 Dec 13:10 out for delivery? 16:47 - Mon 31 Dec We're sorry your local courier couldn’t deliver your parcel today. We'll try again on the next working day. I asked Hermes customer support on live chat to look into this, they said it is a miss-scan. But 3rd Jan out for delivery? This is after saying there was a 24hr delay due to the holiday...more like 48hr. How is a customer supposed to know if Hermes have in fact delivered if the website don't display correct inforamation? After dealing with a customer who said she hadn't received a parcel, knowing I was having difficulties with tracking, then admitted she did in fact receive it once I could prove tracking info...this leaves me open to such deceit and potential theft. My tracking info seldom works properly, so Hermes are leaving customers open to theft, open to wrongly accusing their own customers of having received items, it is an abysmal service at times. Due to costs I use Hermes, as customers want everything so cheap! So I am against a rock and a hard place really. I would prefer to use another courier, but cheap is all people want, and as a micro business I need to cut costs for myself, and still offer a good service to my customers. Come on Hermes sort this out, customers don't deserve this messing about over and over again. Some couriers have clearly been breaking the rules. It has been on Watchdog, it needs addressing properly. If customers didn't query these little mishaps, items would go undelivered all over the place...and perhaps do!

This company is complete shambles. I sold my 27” monitor on eBay and promptly dispatched to the buyer. After 10 days in the hands of Hermes it still shows as “with parcel shop” although the shop – Doddle in Canary Wharf - confirmed it was picked up the same day. After a long wait on their chat I finally got through to someone confirming the parcel has been “deemed lost” in their depot. From the many complaints I’ve read, seems a lot of parcel go “lost” in the Hermes depot. I ask for the next steps and receive a claims form which has a link to non-compensation items – turns out monitors are one of these items. My claims form was rejected as they "don't compensate for monitors above 21 inch". This makes sense from the point of view that these items are fragile and can break. Fine. But Hermes are solely responsible for the “loss” (theft) of my item. What they are saying is essentially that Hermes can get away with stealing monitors above 21 inch. How easy it is to claim no responsibly for certain products and let their staff get away with theft. Absolutely disgusting – how this company is allowed to continue after the proven track record of “lost” parcels is beyond me. If like me you think they are as good or bad as any other courier – think again. Don’t let their prices fool you. They let criminals handle your belongings and take no responsibility when they decide to keep items on the “excluded”list. Any business will suffer from repeatedly throwing their customers under the bus like this, we just need to be louder. This is not the end. Spread the word on customer review sites, forums and seek ways to take legal action.

I purchased an item of EBay on a click and collect basis to collect from my local Argos in Merseyside. The first delivery slot was well within Argos opening times yet failed to deliver. I went on their website to check delivery address. (seller wasn't replying to emails etc). This was no where to be found. Tried to ring but just an automated number. Only option was to email or live chat. So I live chatted to a customer services person and explained the situation and said the seller must have provided a wrong address. They did not confirm it was Argos or not. Another delivery attempt was made but failed. So emailed to cancel the delivery. No response and more missed delivery attempts. Emailed again and eventually was told the parcel had been sent back to sender. Hermes excuses confirmed a possible wrong address but apparently there were adverse weather conditions as well. Merseyside was completely clear of any adverse weather conditions may I add. Plus despite the parcel being returned, I still got a few more apparent missed delivery attempts. Absolutely appaling service and no way of actually talking to someone physically to sort problems.

Always the same thing. They pretend they attempt to make a deli every but really they don’t. You can wait all day to make sure that someone’s home to receive the package but if the delivery is being made by Hermes you can be assured their pathetic excuse of a driver won’t bother making the delivery

I ordered 2 parcels through simply be. Hermes tracking said parcel with couriers expect delivery between 6pm and 8pm on 29/12/18. AT 10.30PM on website update said delivered to Reception. I have no reception you have to press my buzzer to gain entry to my flat. So obviously they lied it i will be reporting this incident I do not entertain liars and thieves.

You company is bogus! I got an email today saying they "tried to deliver" my package from Amazon. Because me and my family are sick we were all home all day today. we have a buzzer that works on the front door which was never rung! I'm so fed up of your deceitful drivers and delivery companies which do this and then make it impossible to get in touch with them. HORRIBLE DECEITFUL SERVICE!

I live in a town called Tidworth. Our local Hermes team are absolutely hopeless and I normally expect a 50% chance of delivery when I find out something I’ve bought online is being delivered by Hermes. More often than not, I’ll get a notification that a delivery attempt was made even though I’ve been in all day. On occasions, I’ve sat in the room by the front door for the whole 3hr delivery window, just to make sure. I can say with some certainty that the drivers often just don’t attempt the delivery, presumably to make their rounds shorter. I now don’t buy from stores who use Hermes and if I were sending a parcel with hermes, I’d have more faith of it reaching its destination if I tied the package to the back of a random car.

Hopeless. Told me I was out when I was sitting in waiting, then said they handed it to my receptionist, as delivery was for a home address God knows where it went. No customer service, even Amazon say they have no way to contact them.

Hermes text to say delivered as I'm sat here facing my letterbox. It's happened a few times now. I could sit on hold to be told I have my parcel... Again! Like I'm stupid n my parcel is really in my hand. They are no help, just cover so the drivers can do what the fluff they like! It bad that I already know I'm wasting my time in advance

Keep putting a failed delivery letter through my door with a fake phone number. It's the same number each time, and an unreadable name. I can only assume he's just steeling our parcels. I'm now going to check with sellers to make sure they don't use myHermes before I buy anything as I'm fed up of having to order things twice.
