For 3 days in a row now, I have waited in for a Hermes delivery. After a whle, I have taken a look at the tracking details, and on all 3 days, it advises that delivery was attempted, but nobody was in. On the first day, it even advised that my parcel had been left in a safe place, and yet 10 minutes later advised that due to nobody being home, it would be delivered the following day. When I contacted the company that shipped the parcel, they contacted Hermes, and were told that my item had been placed under a silver Toyota in my drive....I don't have a silver Toyota nor a drive. When Hermes were told this, they changed their story to advise that the parcel would be delivered the next day...which of course it wasn't. I wish companies would avise which carrier they use, as I would never buy from anyone who uses Hermes. How many days did the delivery take ? How can I answer that, when I'm still waiting ?

Signed for package believing it was my dads (my dads was on the top of the signing page on the phone of the courier) and when my mum checked a little later as it was her item, it was not my package. We "talked" to myhermes support and they kept saying it was delivered and when we asked about this package we received they said they will come collect it. Well the courier collected it and said they would return with our package that day. We didn't receive the package and contacted them again, we went through the same tiring show as they kept saying we had it, well we told them every little detail but soon enough they asked if there is anything they could do for us (even though we are in the middle of finding were my package has gone). I almost had to spell it out that they had lost it or the courier had stolen it, they then just told us that the retailer still had it.... so then choosing to lie to my face just so i would stop pestering them with my families lost package.

Apparently delivered my parcel at 12:39pm today - through the letter box. Guess what, no parcel in sight and my wife and toddler have been in the house all day. The driver has also taken a "Delivery Photo", which looks like a photo of the Sun through a telescope! Luckily I won't have to deal with them directly - that's the job of the company I placed the order through. Not the first time this has happened with a parcel being delivered by Hermes (well, the photo of the Sun is!), and it appears to be a regular occurrence with other customers living in my area based on social media posts. Starting to compile a list of companies who use Hermes and stop buying products from those companies. Shame there isn't a ZERO star rating...

Total failure, the courier turned up at the collection address but did not wait for the package to be taken from the safe, they then stated that the address did not exist. Several requests to collect met with the same excuse. I cannot get the fee refunded. The website is impossible - always diverting to the help questions.

WARNING DO NOT USE HERMES! Courier just left my parcel on my doorstep in clear view to all and sundry. Anyone could have stolen this item. Deliberately chose tracked delivery as it was a precious item. When complained their official response what that is perfectly acceptable as the parcel is within 27m of your address... I mean what the actual f? May as well have just handed it away to a stranger!

Atrocious and completely useless customer support when attempting to make a claim. They have support staff who have no interest in your problem and are trained to fob you off with negative comments. Live chat is totally pointless as is email process. Phone contact is £3.60 per minute!!!!!. You have more chance of contacting aliens.

This courier was used by J D Sport for a Christmas order but nothing arrived, it showed online that it was lost between the national and local depot for nearly two weeks. I complained to JD and then they complained to myHermes. On the same day I was notified JD had contacted myHermes, within hours my order status jumped from being lost to 'apparently' having been delivered. I had an email saying it had been delivered on that day at a particular time, then the online tracking system was all altered and backdated to show a delivery a week or so earlier. Both occasions we were in and nothing had come! Fortunately I had kept screen shots allowing me to try and pursue a refund with JD. I've never had a courier lie about delivery before - I'd avoid myHermes like the plague, they have no conscience and are quite happy to lie and sign off orders as delivered when they know their staff have most likely stolen them so I've been able to put together a strong case with JD! Fortunately they can't make up a signature or provide any proof they delivered it so maybe I'll see a refund eventually... thanks to their fraud I'm already a month gone and I'm still out of pocket....

Lazy thoughtless driver, again Rainy day and the driver threw my parcel over the fence on the side of the house and left a message: “Left securely in outbuilding.”!! The parcel was soaked in the rain. This is the second time this has happened, must be the same lazy inconsiderate dishonest driver whom Hermes has done nothing about despite reporting it. What does it take for Hermes to actually serve the customer for once and do what they are getting paid for i.e. safe delivery of a parcel? can’t believe Hermes actually charges for this appalling service.

The worst experience ever. The order was sent back without any reason after a week of waiting for delivery and calling customer service. The stupidest customer service ever - the problem was not solved but more difficulties with delivery created. They are not humans but robots. No efforts to help, absolutely different information provided with every call. As a result my son was left without a present. If you have any chance - please not use this "service". Never ever in my life!!!

Hi I often get parcels delivered from Hermes. The courier comes in the afternoon when I'm at work. I've asked to leave a card so I can get in touch but he never does. On this occasion it was a birthday gift and because he Tryed 3 times it will be sent back to supplier. I'm so annoyed. Can't make any contact with Hermes. Won't be using them again ever.

Had a parcel delivered today no one was in and the tracking info said the parcel had been delivered to a secure place, a secure place is not dumped behind our wheelie bin where anyone could have picked it up as its a public right of way or it could have rained ruining the package what a total fail by hermes, I would not use them based on todays experience, the driver should have either delivered to a neighbour or took the parcel back with him and left a card.

I would plead with people not to use this company. They are very popular with people like me selling on eBay but, trust me, you pay for their 'low-cost' service. Hermes staff stole items I sent - cutting open the bottom of the box, removing the contents and re-sealing. Despite presenting them with incontrovertible evidence Hermes refuse to compensate me - even though the items were fully covered by their own insurance. Their customer services are appalling - based mainly in India and staffed by people who cannot take decisions but who send you standard form replies as if that was sufficient. Awful companies like this should be driven out of business by customers turning away from them

They lied about delivering to my address today. Email received confirming delivery at 4.15om. Tracking updated at 6pm to say delivered and left securely in my porch. 1) I was sat 5 feet from front door all day beside front window at my desk. 2) I don't even have a porch. This is the 3rd failed hermes delivery in 6 months. The drivers really are liars and possibly thieves.

Horrible experience. Just got my parcel from Hermes. It was already opened and then sealed and the item stolen! The item is also irreplaceable and one of a kind! Will never deal with Hermes again. Can call Hermes but it costs, so had to do a live chat. Now I have to sort it out for me and the seller! Will have to wait 28 hours before I hear back from Hermes via email. No real apology from Hermes via chat either. Awful service all round. Now I get an email saying that the issue is resolved as the item has yet to be delivered. They can't even get that right! No, the issue is not resolved and the package has been delivered but with no item inside! It has been stolen! I spoke to them again and they said the same thing: the tracking says it hasn't been delivered yet and I have to wait 1-2 days. It is like talking to a brick wall! I'm trying to get this issue resolved, but their customer service is hopeless. I'm so angry and frustrated. The person who stole my item should be ashamed of themselves.

Sent parcel just before Christmas. First they said that they had damaged it. Then they said they had lost it. Then they said that I should make a claim for the loss - as they couldn't find the parcel that they had damaged. Now they tell me that my claim isn't valid because the content of the parcel was a collection of old railway tickets - even though they accepted the extra fee for insurance knowing what the contents were. Now my customer hasn't got his tickets and I'm out £106. Do you know, they won't even refund the cost of the service that they haven't delivered. Have asked for a claims manager to return my call - twice. Nothing. Instead I've had a further e-mail from one Thomas Mirga. He says don’t waste my time contacting MyHermes again, because it was my fault that I put my trust in his company and that once they have my money they couldn’t care less whether or not they have delivered the service that I paid for. He didn’t use those exact words, but that is exactly what he meant. Shameless thieves.

Delivery parcel was found on the footpath that leads to my house left in the rain. Delivery 'photo' was obviously not a real delivery. Online support clearly failed to read what I sent them as they now think the item is somewhere in the depot. Institutional incompetence demonstrated on a regular basis. Shame so many people use them. By comparison, Royal mail and all amazon deliveries all get to the house so it isn't difficult to find.

At the beginning of December I send a Christmas gift using Myhermes, that just seemed to vanish. Although not worth very much, I’d spend days making this cushion, which I croched by hand. After almost a month of nothing from Myhermes, I emailed their customer service and explained the situation and this was their response: “Really sorry to hear about this, unfortunately it seems your parcels not been delivered due to it being damaged. Please get the sender to contact in regards to a refund/replacement.” This is not good enough, why on earth can’t a parcel be delivered just because it’s damaged? What I’m really angry about is that they didn’t read my email properly, where I stated I was the sender and that it was a hand made one of a kind cushion. I feel very aggrieved that they have stolen the cushion I made and failed to deliver it, meaning they’ve also taken the money I paid them to deliver the item, which they have not done. I will never be using Myhermes again, they have totally broken my trust by letting their staff steal the gift I lovingly made. Disgusting. They are a bunch of crooks.
