AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID! AVOID AVOID AVOID! After bidding and winning a rare item on eBay, Hermes had the task to deliver it, and miserably failed!! Their delivery driver had left the parcel in the back street of my house inside a rubbish bin!! YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT, A RUBBISH BIN! Not only was the parcel left outside the boundaries of my property, unsigned for and inside a rubbish bin, but it only happend to be on bin collection day! So my parcel now is in the council recycling centre, along with a heap of other junk! After complaining to Hermes I found their customer service to be of the worst I have ever dealt with. It took me over 3 emails to even register that my parcel was missing. At no time did I ever speak to the same person, so with each new person I had to explain the situation over again. I even had staff lying to me, saying they had left it next to the bin, when the original photograph that the driver had taken provided clear evidence of the parcel inside a bin along with my rubbish. I gave up responding to their staff, as it was just wasting more of my time. Please do not use their. delivery service, you will regret it!

I'm sat next to the door, then receive an email saying my parcel has been delivered and signed for.. no note to say its been delivered else where so I literally have no idea. I don't know if its MyHermes not paying their staff enough or just terrible staff but they need to sort it out fast.

Well, I have been dealing with Hermes for years, delivery only and can't fault them. suffice to say, it's the same lady called Stacey orTracy ! We have a little chat, always polite and charming. One day, a chap turned up, I enquired where she was ( it was her hubby. ) I watched the video on Hermes and am horrified. I can't fault them or maybe, I am lucky with my courier ? Maybe, it was a bad courier portrayed in the video, hopefully he has been fired. Unacceptable behaviour. I hasten to add that I am a grumpy old Pensioner ! But Stacy makes me happy and that she and her hubby had a good birth of their baby. My name is Liz Shaw. Grange Road, Ramsgate. Please send her a bunch of flowers. Well done Hermes.

Hermes have now lost 6 packages of ours in the 6/7 months we have lived in our new address. When you try and contact them about it, they say they will investigate and get back to you in 24Hrs, but rarely actually do. I will be doing everything in my power to avoid ordering from any retailer that uses them from now on.

I sold a tall mahogany plant stand on eBay and booked Hermes through eBay's Shutl connection. I go through the whole eBay process, spend a considerable time sourcing a box to take the item, secure it with miles of tape and bubble wrap, pay £7 for a label, drive it to a pick-up point…only for the courier to smash it beyond repair (how do you break three solid mahogany legs off a table at the same time?) I refunded the buyer and was advised to contact Shutl who basically said "You should have read the (long) list of excluded items – we don't pay anything for furniture unless flat-packed." Does that sound fair? I pity someone who has sent a more expensive item without reading the small print. We live and learn.

Got a message saying my parcel was delivered to my safe place, there was nothing there. On the online tracking system, they uploaded a photo of my flat, not of the actual parcel. I'm still waiting for a reply from the seller, but the item is most likely gone.

Small parcel dispatched from Yorkshire to Lancashire on 15th December. Customer told me on 24th December it hadn't arrived. Hermes online tracking system said it had left me, the phone version on the same day said it was in the recipient's local branch office. By 2nd January, it still hadn't arrived and I had to send a replacement at my own expense. I then lodged a claim for refund, and by 24th January, all I have had is repeated acknowledgements of my claim. No money or explanation. I had intended to be a regular customer, but seeing how I've been treated, I can't risk it.

Hermes have still got my parcel, which is well over a week now, as it is being "processed". What takes a week to process, contacted their complaints department and have yet to hear a reply from them.

Two months and ongoing ,attrocious web chat they can write English but don’t understand Parcel sent two months ago excuses can’t find delivery address Then parcel damaged Then 3 rd week parcel damaged and held in local depot I asked for it to be returned but nothing , 4 th week I don’t think anybody knew were it was certainly not them 5 th week it appears it was deliverd signiture obtained by buyer ,but the buyer was on holiday so that was a lie So we’re was it they were telling lies and not signed for and what confirmed this it was delivered back to me 8 weeks later so it was not signed for at all So this was false information about being signed for so either it was a crooked courier or my hermes who sent this Still not resolved ongoing,no attempt to refund for the item or compensation ,don’t get me wrong I use them a lot and have never had this situation arise ,hopefully they will resolve it now as it arrived back damaged because it’s been in transit for two months ,I presume this because of all the extra labels attathed to it ,awaiting a sensible reply from them again

Disgusting service from their staff. We were waiting for something we bought over the internet and we happen to not be in when they came to deliver it. They left a paper so we could call and when we call them they say they have attempted 4 times which is a massive lie as we had been home since that day and never received anything. They can't be arsed to do their job properly and only did one delivery attempt. Someone called Paul from Staffordshire in UK needs to be taught how to deliver parcels.

my partner bought a garment and paid extra for next day delivery. Hermes was supposed to deliver and on the tracker said attempted delivery. we were in all day and no delivery came anywhere near - i was even sitting by the window and there was definitely no attempt at delivery. There was no way to contact either the vendor or Hermes. Hermes are an absolutely shocking company and why any reputable company uses them is anybodies guess. I wonder how many parcels get 'lost' never to be seen again - reading the reviews i would say lots. I will never order online again if Hermes is used for delivery - they are just a lot of dishonest crooks in my opinion. We ordered next day delivery and paid extra for a reason only to be disappointed by Hermes.

If I could I would give them 0 stars. Ordered a package for my wife before christmas and despite having sat in on the day it was due to be delivered, there was not even an attempt to deliver it, nothing so much as a van pulled up. After 3 "Failed" attempts, I had to contact MyHermes, no telephone number, no reply to e-mails. On livechat the representative told me the address was wrong, despite confirming it to me in a slightly different format. This is particularly interesting as the address was picked from a drop down on the vendors website and they had it verbatim when I called them. With no help from Hermes, I've contacted the vendor who were beyond helpful, however as the product is now out of stock they needed to wait for Hermes to return the parcel which was in the process of happening. They would then send the goods through a different courier. Interestingly the assistant from the vendor stated they get a lot of complaints about Hermes. Last week (14-18 Jan, bearing in mind this was supposed to have arrived in time for christmas) the vendor called me to inform me Hermes have now admitted they have "lost" the parcel and will be giving me a full refund as they have no other way of getting the goods. All told, if I was to sum up MyHermes in 3 words it would by lying, thieving sods. And sods isn't the word I would use.

Ordered goods online from well known retailer. Hermes courier chose to leave them in my front gardening my food bin. Goods have been stolen. Retailer is ‘investigating’ in particular where the goods were left. Despite the fact I have a Hermes card confirming left in bin. Too many stories like this on the Net about Hermes, would give zero stars if I could.

Without a doubt the worst delivery service I have had the misfortune of stealing my parcel. Please don't call their helpline, it's a premium call rate one. Not only did they steal my parcel but gave me the runaround trying to find it. I was charged for the phone calls, you can't use live chat if the parcel was from ebay as they say you need to take it up with the retailer. Emails galore sent usually promising to respond but don't. In my experience they are a bunch if thieving rogues, still no parcel or money, I hope you are held accountable very soon.

I went to there parcel shops to send 10 parcels and I received 9 notification through my e mail. They failed to send one notification and I asked them to resend missing notification but they said they can not resend it. The call centre guy in India told me he will escalate it to the concerned department. Next day I received the email they are unable to resend it. It is against uk consumer act to refuse a a invoice. you can not enfoce indian rule on uk customers if you have call centre in India
