2 day delivery which would have been fine as someone was at home but 2 days turned into 3 and no one at home and cant redirect to a drop off point with the app or on there website

Expected a parcel the next day as I paid extra money for it to come sooner. To find out Hermes didn’t even deliver it at all. No one came to the door once.Wasn’t in my house, my garden, near the bins, nowhere! And someone has signed for it but who else could sign for it when I put the correct address. I also contacted people at all the other doors in my area and no one had it. I don’t know who signed it. But anyways, whenever Hermes deliver my stuff, the packaging is always damaged when it gets to me. And I’d like to think that the merchant would send off people’s packages in such an awful condition. Royal Mail do such a better job for me.

Don't knock your door, throw packages over fence and worse give packages to known to be thief neighbours. Very very worrying as have had packages not turn up in past! Shame shame shame on you Hermes.

They don't bother to knock your door, throw packages over fences, or worse, leave your packages with your known-to-thieve neighbours making me think more has been given away than I know of as I have had packages not turn up in the past making me think they've been stolen! If I could give this company no stars then I would - they should vet their drivers. This is the second time something has been recently sent to us via this company, with tracking. We didn't receive either of our parcels and our CCTV footage shows nobody attempted to deliver to us. Both times show the parcel was signed for (signatures do not even resemble ours) and one showed a photo of the parcel 'left in porch' We don't have a porch and this proves nothing. The driver could have taken a picture anywhere and then taken the parcel back! Hermes should introduce something like a password that only Hermes and the recipient know - the driver couldn't fake that! One of our neighbours has had the same thing happen to her last week, and contacting Hermes seems impossible. The website requires a lot of time to navigate which most people don't have. I wouldn't use this company again. This has called my integrity into question by the seller. We used to have a courier from Hermes who was 100 per cent reliable but she does not deliver any more. The first supplier from whom we did not receive the parcel contacted Hermes but it seems they did not respond. In case you are interested, Hermes, the tracking number was 8179996249668284. How this company is getting past trading standards is beyond me.

I would give them zero stars but no button for that. Impossible to speak to a human when you have an issue, and you will have very quickly. Spend the extra small amount and use another company.

Totally useless! Expecting a delivery on 14 Feb. I get messages telling me it's being delivered, then between 14/15 Feb messages that there is an address query, then they ask me to contact them. Rang the telephone and got a virtual assistant - telling me that they know where my parcel is and it's out for delivery - how if they don't know the address? Tried their online chat which tells me that it doesn't recognise the (copied & pasted) tracking number. Tells me to hold on whilst they transfer to an advisor & this is what I get - Your waiting time is 43 minutes Further to my last its now 8.30pm and I have had two further updates. At 2.49pm their Ebay tracking tells me that it's at Bridgewater with an address query and asks me to get in touch - (again) !!! The Hermes web site at says Your waiting time is 42 minutes Your waiting time is 42 minutes Your waiting time is 42 minutes Your waiting time is 42 minutes Your waiting time is 42 minutes Your waiting time is 42 minutes Your waiting time is 41 minutes Your waiting time is 41 minutes Your waiting time is 41 minutes Absolutely useless. The tracking number I have entered is copied and pasted from your web site. Your web site recognised it! One explanation is that there is an address query however the address is absolutely correct. Then it tells me three times it will be delivered on 15 February. Then it tells me that it will be delivered today 17 February, then it asks me to contact you! A lot of good that has been! Your waiting time is 41 minutes Your waiting time is 40 minutes Not a good service when there is no way to speak to a person! UPDATE at 8.45pm and so it goes on! I receive an update on the ebay tracking (from Hermes) 2.49pm - delay due to an address query Bridgewater. Main HERMES site tells me "we're not able to deliver to the address we have, please get in touch" - again??????? see above! Between then and 6.15pm this evening I have received 3 updates, the last tells me that it's at HERMES local depot and is on its way - I won't be holding my breath because; if they don't understand the address which they have already, how do they know that it's at our local depot??????. Totally useless!!!!!!

If I could leave no stars at all I would. Just before Christmas I received an email from Hermes telling me that a parcel had been delivered, but as I had been in all day, no-one had called , and no card left to say where the parcel had been put, I knew this was just not true. After many attempts to get this sorted out Hermes told me I had to contact the sender myself, but as I hadn't a clue who had sent me a parcel I couldn't do that. So here we are in mid February and I still don't know what was sent or by whom. Presumably Hermes must be able to give me this information, but they just don't and when I go back on the site it says - Case Closed. This could be a Christmas present, and if so someone must be thinking me very rude for not thanking them. 100% dissatisfied and I would happily leave NO stars at all if the website allowed it!

absolutely terrible service - took two weeks of non delivery - there is NO working customer service number and the 'chat bot' is usless. there is no customer complaints line or working customer services number on their website i spent hours over many days tryin to get this sorted - in the end i managed to find a number of a sorting depot 40 miles away and finally was able to get through to a human being. the package finally arrived - it was left out in the rain - the courier didnt even bother knocking on the door. It was so badly damaged that it was usless. I would NEVER use Hermes out of choice and will be checking with any future purchases that they will not be the company. Absolutley pathetic - i genuinely hope that such a bad company goes out of business as soon as possible.

Awful customer service, no option to speak to a human being, chat interface 45 min wait, non existing admin, parcels lost with no recourse, deliverys marked as unpaid when paid in full by paypal as delivery booked online. Appaling

so i ordered off Ebay and didnt realize it was a hermes postal service, the guy droped off at a collection point, the parcel wasn't scanned then ended up in London, no easy way to speak to hermes, i wont use them ever again, id rather pay the extra postage and use a proper courier so now i have to leave negative feedback for the guy that posted using hermes

When I track the parcel it just says we are working on delivering it and it can still be with you by 30th January. It is now the 17th February! There is no option to chat to anyone, no option to speak to someone. So I simply asked for a refund from the seller - a waste of everyone's time. Terrible customer experience, cynical company.

Hermes is a terrible untrustworthy… Hermes is a terrible untrustworthy company. The currier just gave my parcel to someone else, did not ask for id or anything, someone from a different building ( few buildings away / industrial work area ) The currier could not even bring the parcel to correct address ! ...or most likely stolen by curier-himself !!!!! so angry and upset!!!!!!!! ....

Message received on Monday that my parcel was with Hermes and would be delivered soon. parcel arrived SATURDAY - 5 days later! I think I could have walked to he sender of the parcel and walked home again faster than it was delivered. The contents were also damaged.

The worst delivery company. They sent me an email, that my parcel is been delivered and signed for at the delivery address. It is a lie. Nobody came. The signiture was not mine. It was fake. These people are frauds. AVOID

i was expecting a parcel to be delivered today , between the hours of 10am-2pm , when it had not arrived i looked at my email , only to be told it had been delivered and signed for , i then tried to contact hermes to find out where the driver had dropped off the parcel by mistake , but it is impossible to get any information , customer service is terrible.
