Past 3 deliveries have been dumped on our gravel driveway for all to see and possibly nab. Left in the rain to boot. Email from them say will place by door (and run!). Seems they are leaving the door part out and running once dumped on or near the property. Plain s*** all round.

Absolute rubbish company. My heart sinks when I see it's a Hermes delivery. Late , missing, are all things I associate with Hermes If I see a company is using them for A delivery I go to another source for my purchase. Can't speak to a human being if you require a response. Steer clear and use DPD

Where to begin ? Lost items , items or for delivery found to be damaged , yet suddenly can't be located. I send vintage items which aren't easily replaced-I've had to refund customers but getting a refund from Hermes is nearly impossible. Slow to respond , ludicrous standards of proof . It is a business giving a nearly criminal level of service and I have now decided to cease using them.

Claimed to have attempted delivery to our business, but this wasn't true. They basically stole our package.

driver stole me parcel everything on cctv but no chance to spoke with any one from hermes as tracking show delivered ... i sent email to hermes but no replay. next stap is reported to the police really disapointed a no way to spoke with human from hermes and sort this problem with out police ....

DONT USE THEM! HAVE HAD 2 PACKAGES DAMEGED BEYOND REPAIR BY THEM AND THE REFUSE TO COMPENSATE YOU FOR THE DAMAGES.

Work shifts in care home. Carnt be in all time to pick up parcel. Learning disability. Not know how to change delivery. Courier shouts at me for not being in and takes picture of me when giving me the parcel to humiliate me.

No Urgency by Hermes to Sort their Non-Collection Error! A parcel was not collected by Hermes on the arranged day. Though a Hermes courier delivered a parcel to me on that day, he refused to take the arranged parcel even though their printed label was attached, because he had not been asked to collect it. Now 6 days later & 3 days following a complaint to their so say 'helpline' collection is still outstanding. You can't talk to a Hermes human and even writing to their CEO twice has not even produced an acknowledgement. I will not be using them again as when things go wrong, there is no urgency to put matter right. In the meantime the recipient has to-date paid for an item hasn't been received within a reasonable period!

On two occasions within 6 weeks my parcels have been left on the doorstep in open view. Public footpath 8 meters away. Security camera captured the driver not allowing time to answer door. I doubt hermes in its current form will be around for much longer.

Sent a parcel of Xmas presents to my brother in Italy collected by the courier from my house scanned by him gave me a receipt that is the last entry on tracking system this parcel has obviously been stolen just getting fobbed off by customer service paid for insurance on the parcel keep been told to wait for the investigation Do not use this company!!!!!

I arranged for a 2 parcels to be collected on the 1st of December, stayed in all day - no courier, this is the 2nd time this has happened but the first time was 2 years ago so thought it was just a one off - obviously not. Complained by phone on the 2nd, about the non collection and was told it was due to be collected that day, I informed them I had to go out between 13:00 - 18:00. I was assured they would inform the courier of the hours I would not be at home ( they also had and confirmed my contact number and said they would ask the courier to phone me to let me know when he was near). You can probably guess what is coming next! they called during the hours I was not at home. Phoned again today and after another 20minute wait spoke to Dominique and asked her to cancel the order. She confirmed first parcel had been cancelled and refunded, she took the 2nd parcel number and after waiting 5 minutes to a dead line, in the hope that she would come back, I had to hang up so I am not sure if the price of the second parcel has been refunded. I will never use Hermes again and would advise anyone thinking of using their service to think again. Customer Service is non existent. You cannot contact them by email only by phone.

It is impossible to speak to someone when you have a problem. They failed to deliver a package and keep telling me it is due for delivery between certain times - it was - days ago! I will not use companies who use them in future.

Have been waiting 3 weeks for a parcel and the app, after going round in circles with it, is not giving me the option to speak to someone....very poor service. Avoid avoid avoid

My parcel arrived 6 days ago at Hermes depot,said they would deliver in 24 hrs.still hasn't arrived,no reply to emails.This is not the first time companies that use this service have had delivery issues!!!

On the day of delivery I got a notification saying they couldn't deliver the parcel as 'had issue with shipping address' as someone between gymshark and hermes managed to provide only half the address. Have tried and tried to get through to both companies, no response, it has been 2 weeks!! I have literally begged Hermes to deliver my parcel providing my address but no answer. Are the reviews accurate, do they just loot the parcels?

"BBC Watchdog Live has received far more complaints about deliveries by Hermes than about any other delivery company." See the BBC Watchdog website for more info on this horrendous company. For over a month I tried to recover my property from Hermes aka Parcelnet. I even wrote twice to the CEO Martijn de Lange with no reply. The executive office of Hermes does not care about what you, the customer, may have lost to their incompetent parcel courier system, as evinced by the emails I've received from them. After a month of emailing, here is a direct quote from correspondence received from Hermes Executive Office: "Please be advised a thorough investigation has been completed and the item was damaged and in no condition to be delivered and the parcel was destroyed." Parcels don't get 'lost', they get stolen by Hermes staff. Hermes have admitted to intentionally destroying £760 of my property and there is no way I'll recover that money.

Terrible, terrible company. They either claim to have delivered when they have, not that you have paid extra for next day delivery or they leave your parcel wet outside your door
