I paid for next day delivery and package never arrived, when I tried to contact hermes, I got automated messages which ended the phone call, there was no way to speak to an actual human being

Absolute shambles of a company! Lost my parcel and found it 3 times then tried to deliver an empty box to the customer after I told them he had been refunded. They don’t pay back what you’ve paid them and ignore your emails and complaints, they just sent back automated emails

I ordered a pair of trainers, but they were delivered when I was at work. The delivery driver left my parcel outside my door and left a card saying it was left in a ‘safe’ place. When I got home there was no parcel outside my door, have attempted to contact Hermes many times but can never get through to anyone. Just automated emails. A couple days later I ordered a dress off of pretty little thing for a party I had, I paid for next day delivery and it was scheduled to come next day, unfortunately Hermes were the couriers and 3 days later I still haven’t received my parcel. Worst delivery service I’ve ever used.

Text and emailed saying item being delivered between 5-9pm no show Next day I wasn’t home due to work not my fault should of delivered day before like they had said ... next day 3pm-7pm right that’s fine will wait in all day since I was emailed to say wait in after I complained 3pm -7pm text saying we are sorry delivery is moved to 5pm-9pm NO SHOW problem getting to my address again .. so you can deliver when I’m at work but not when I’m actually home pathetic company

Appauling service! Ordered goods from online retailer on 1st December 2019, it has been sat in their depot for days. Now the tracker says item has been delivered and signed for. I can categorically state I haven't received it. It was my daughter's Christmas present Ffs! I can't find any help on the useless website nor a bloody number!!!

I thought initially they were great. But after using them to send my Ebay parcels they have managed to ruin perfect feedback by losing parcels or dropping them. All were fully insured- what a joke.... they don't pay out. I have had to reimburse my customers and I am now £300 in total out of pocket. Will I get anything back... not a chance! DO NOT USE THEM

Absolute diabolical service. Out if 5 parcels I have sent through Ebay - all fully insured. 2 arrived late. 1 was dropped and they won't pay out. 1 sent on 23rd November arrived 12th December. 1 still missing that I face had to refund. Ruined my perfect record with Ebay and earned me negative feedback. I am totally disgusted. DON'T USE THEM

The last 5 parcels I gave sent with Hermes have all gone missing or been badly damaged. The last one reports being "delayed" through a road closure! FOR 7 DAYS! whst? Really? They take no responsibly and aim £300 in total out of pocket DO NOT USE THEM

Lost package, no one to phone to complain to. As with other reviews...signed for by courier and no proof of attempted posting left. A mystery as to where this package could be!? The retailer is being very sympathetic and openly stated that Hermes is a law unto its self...she said, “anything can happen with Hermes.” I assume this implies a wider, greater problem within Hermes. As I have witnessed myself (within the Penzance area), a Hermes courier leaving their car/van doors open, with packages free to be taken, or in this case perhaps falling from the open door and driven over through their haste. I can just see my parcel having been crushed under the wheels of a Hermes van and the resulting cover up, another failed Job and a very annoyed customer.

Worst delivery company. Cannot reassign delivery to another day?! Cmon... Wasting your time and resources. I know i won't be at home, I don't want my parcel to be left at my neighbor or 'safe place' - so instead of allowing to change delivery date,you will foolishly attempt to deliver the parcel 3 times to an an empty house. Seriously? You clearly never heard of 'work smart not hard' term....

I have been in all day waiting for my parcel from Hermes UK, please note, I have a fully functioning doorbell and the gift of full hearing. Within the past half hour I was emailed stating that my parcel had been delivered at MY address, signed by ME. I have NOT received my parcel, I have NOT signed for a delivery and my previously mentioned fully functioning doorbell has NOT been rung once today nor has there been a single knock at the door. I cannot find my parcel ANYWHERE after knocking on neighbours doors and searching outside. There is no actual way to speak to a live human being at Hermes and the live chat is bloody useless which keeps repeating what my email is stating. My parcel is an expensive Christmas present for my twin sister and I have no way of contacting Hermes! I have contacted Debenhams who I made my order with and now have to wait 3 working days to hear what is actually going on. Debenhams have been very sympathetic and I spoke to a real human being. Maybe Hermes could do with looking at Debenhams customer services on how to actually deal with customers and in a compassionate manner. Debenhams, do us all a favour and ditch Hermes for the useless pile of muck they are. Hermes, shame on you! I requested my order be delivered to my home as I live with chronic fatigue and chronic pain and find Christmas to be a sad and stressful time.. I did not expect you Hermes to add to this stress and pain. If I could rate this service lower than 1 star then I would a million times! How upsetting and infuriating. Avoid Hermes at all costs!

My parcel should have been delivered yesterday between 2 and 4. I was home from 1.30. Last update at 3.58 said there had been a delay and it would be here ASAP. No parcel!!! Today it’s arrived. When I asked what happened yesterday he said I came and u weren’t here!!! When I said I was he continued to argue that I wasn’t!!!! Terrible customer service!!!

Worst delivery service I have ever encounter. Phones are never answered, not even complaints line. Tracking means nothing as they keep the same message there for days. Still waiting for delivery, now days after due date. And live chat is not live! Just a machine that triggers generic messages. Absolute joke

Numerous orders supposedly unable to deliver to our address. Didn't even try we were in all day on delivery days. Terrible service by the worst delivery company in the uk. I use ' delivery ' term loosely as all they do is transport your items from the supplier then return it to them after driving about in there van for a few days.

Wow! Never experienced such bad service in my life. I sent an item I sold online. Hermes driver after couple of days labels it as ‘customer did not accept’ which is an utter lie because the customer has been in touch waiting for the parcel. I tried contacting Hermes, the online chat is awful, it cuts off mid convo (then you have to wait 30min again. This happened on multiple occasions ). I have no idea where my parcel is. The tracking says it’s in depot (it’s been 3 days) there are no human I can talk to. So far they have Stolen my money and my item. I hope this company goes out of business. People working for this company start looking for another job. there is no way a company with this level of injustice can survive.

My parcel required a signature and the courier decided to sign it himself and leave in a porch which isn’t secure and when I arrived home from work, no parcel! I even designated a neighbour on the website, and nope. Even wrote on the calling card, “signed by courier!” Over a £200 parcel! Absolutely awful. And trying to get in contact is just horrendous !
