The short classes, under 3 hours, are very useful and filled with practical and helpful information. The all day classes, around 6 hours, usually don't match the time commitment. Overall, the subscription is a good library and update tool. Although, I would appreciate a easier way to add notes to the course materials while listening to the presentations. (The subscription's limitations makes note taking unnecessarily duplicative and wasteful.) The subscription has been very helpful with providing updated information on COVID related statutes and changes.

All sessions were extremely useful. Especially liked the sessions presented by Gery N. from Erie, PA. I would suggest all speakers have a power point to go along with presentation.

NBI puts together so many relevant continued learning opportunities. There is truly something for everyone whether you are an attorney, paralegal or legal staff, NBI has you covered.

In the topic areas I've been choosing, the lectures are much too long. You should have shorter lectures. I've had to sit through 3 hours of lecture just to get to the topic areas that interest me. Also, I'm tired of hearing about "no dabbling" in estate planning. I'm not trying to dabble, I'm trying to make it my primary practice. I want to learn, which is why I'm taking these courses. Why can't lecturers seem to understand this? Every single one of the courses I've taken so far has lecturers who are critical of beginners. It's very insulting. Just identify pitfalls rather than slam others.

A variety of topics (for both of my licenses), a variety of presentation styles (in person, web and phone), professional and well-prepared teachers/speakers and a bundled package for membership makes this a great CE offering for my money.

Getting two email solicitations a day from you immediately after my continuing education conference is overkill. The class I attended by phone, how the coronavirus is affecting landlord tenant relationships, was of poor quality. The product description did not state that the speaker would largely talk about only commercial landlord tenant topics, and, even so, the Takeaway was something that I (And likely everyone) already perceived and have been operating under: that in unpredictable times where Government regulation of this sector is fluid, the landlord and tenant should work with each other, avoid litigation, and renegotiate any term of the lease that is an obstacle, all in order to preserve the long-term relationship. The class wasn’t worth $100. Maybe $20.

So far very poor. CA credit classes presented by lawyers not licensed in CA giving generic examples or out of state rules , with the advisory to check your home state rules. This is without a doubt the absolute worst MCLE I have ever taken.

Last Thursday was my first time attending a seminar via NBI. While the communications part of the webinar itself was a little rocky at times, the classes were very informative.

I have been speaking at NBI attorney seminars for several years. I have particularly found the personnel at NBI quick to respond when I have had needs. I feel they are always helpful. I appreciate the marketing materials which are sent to me, as well as the helpfulness of the coordinators at the events. I would give NBI 5 stars except for the outlines provided me. Sometimes the outline items are difficult to work into the presentation.

I think the only parts I find a bit troubling are the power points that just have words. The stories are what get the point across, not reciting the law. For example, in the last webinar I attended, the lecturer used an example of her client, the artist, and all of a sudden everything she had been saying abstractly made sense. A picture is worth a thousand words, so I would urge your lecturers to find old Irving Younger tapes and watch how he teaches. He tells stories. As lawyers, we should all be masters at this since that's the only way we win in court and, really, the only way we win with our clients even in transaction work.

I don't like that the hours are 10-5 for an all day course. I work 7-4 and don't enjoy staying late at work or staying late at the class and then hitting traffic. I would bet that most people would prefer an earlier start. Also, why only 5.5 credits for a 7 hour course? Why so much wasted time? In PA, PBI generally gives 6 hours per all day class which fits with PA's requirement of 12 credits per year.. 5.5 is awkward and two classes are insufficient for us to meet our requirement.
