“I have been presenting for NBI for awhile now. I enjoy working with their staff as they are always helpful and courteous. They do a great job of "filling the seats" which is likely due to their selection of topics of interest to many attorneys and others. The set up for the presentations is ready for me to plug in and go. The rooms are always set up well and pleasant.”

“I have spoken at many NBI seminars, both in-person and webcast, over many years. The planners and contact people for each seminar are very helpful and give clear information as to what I need to prepare in the outline and any powerpoint presentation. The Moderators at the seminars are knowledgable, friendly and helpful. When asked to speak, I can't always do it, but I try to as much as possible. They make it as easy as it can be to get up in front of a bunch of attorneys you don't know and speak (whether in person or by phone).”

“Normally I love being a speaker for NBI. This time it was horrible. My ppt did not show up as I sent it in but in black and white and quite hard to read. I wanted to open it early so I had a chance to make it bigger and make sure I was able to see but the moderated would not let me. I also could not ask her questions also she could talk to me. I found myself unable to see the slides very well. As the format given to me what terrible to read from. Therefore, I chose to deliver my presentation from my memory. Then the moderator interrupted me to tell me I was very behind and have many slide to go when I only two slides to go. I found it very annoying. I spent a lot of time on my slides to ensure I could see them and the font was a good size. This was not a good experience.”

“They have very few people show up to the presentations. The outlines they created end up being very difficult to write information for once you sit down and start looking at it more closely. Sometimes, there isn't even enough information to talk on for an hour.”

“The topics presented are organized very well and the speakers covering sections of a seminar are very well versed in the subject material. The one drawback I see is that the attendees only see the handout materials the morning of the seminar . They have no time to study the manual and prepare for questions they might have. Robert E. “I really enjoy teaching with NBI, however, I find that there is a disconnect between the NBI staff designing the program v. how as attorneys we would plan it. I recommend that you obtain more speaker input prior to finalizing an agenda.”
