I absolutely love how easy and convenient NBI makes the CLE-earning process. If you've been getting your CLE credits in any other way, I highly recommend buying an annual pass from NBI, at least once, to see for yourself. My only gripe is -- with the whole COVID thing -- some of the lecturers on streaming or downloadable courses have audio levels that are so low or uncompressed that I sometimes have trouble hearing them 100% of the time. Those problems, however, are few and far between. For the most part, the video lectures are top-notch, media-wise, and they're uniformly very good, content-wise. Again, highly recommended!

I was not entirely pleased with the CLE that I ordered. It was difficult to understand/hear some of the presenters and others simply were not engaging. It was frustrating to watch.

The "program" is merely a compilation of audio files from a conference that took place for a physical audience. Each subject is a session that was recorded live; in many cases, the speaker runs out of time or fails to cover a certain sub-topic completely. There are a few sessions where the speakers had to present out of order and the program simply fails to modify the audio program to reflect the schedule and PDF course book that is provided. Furthermore, the course book that accompanies this program is not entirely consistent with the audio and many speakers jump around within their topic without forewarning. Within the audio program there are also clear references to power points or other visual aids that are not provided within the course book. This course felt much more like an opportunity for NBI to make money rather than an articulated effort to provide a quality educational experience.

My interface with NBI was incredible! The programs were helpful, not just something to meet CLE mandates! The flexibility and ease of use are to be commended.

Classes are always informative, handouts are very helpful and great to use long term after the seminars. Great prices, excellent speakers, and timely certificates of attendance.

I have concerns about the impending switch from telephone to web broadcast for teleconferences. I like having the freedom to listen on a head set and move around. I do not locked in front of a computer for 90 minutes.

I had no idea I was required to collect "codes" during a CLE for KS. When I called NBI for help after the seminar they were initially less than helpful and made it essentially my fault I didn't have the codes. I joined the seminar after the first hour. I didn't need all hours this year. Apparently the instructions to collect codes was given at the start of the seminar. I suggest NBI put instructions either on the solicitation for the seminar or at least on the confirmation email once a seminar is purchased that codes need to be collected during the seminar and instructions for doing so. Those of us who do not need to listen to the entire seminar have no way of knowing what to listen for or what to copy down it seems. Finally Kirsten at NBI helped me and took care of what I needed, I think, to get the credit earned.

It took almost 5 months and no one in the customer service department ever gave me the same answer on the status. After calling multiple times in June, they would tell me I wasn't accepted and finally someone in July told me to call the state. Turns out I was accepted at the beginning of June and not one of the customer service people caught it. Overall I got my stamp and all the materials. I would most likely recommended another company for anyone else in the future, if Customer Service is a priority.

Enjoyed the presentation. Good format and contents. Did not receive credit for the presentation because I apparently missed the "indicator" . I actually was taking notes and not watching the presenter. hmb

TBH I'm wondering why I renewed this subscription. Its mostly to get my CPE and CLE at the same time, and to network. Without the in-person component there is little to no networking and I could get the online only much cheaper. NBI needs to recognize that the change in business model needs to be reflected in the price structure, or do something to make up for it. Even the YMCA put membership fees on hold during lockdown when they were not allowing in person visits to the gym.

I recently attended two NBI programs, via video webcast, and, in sum, the programs were, from what I could actually hear, well done. The problem was that both programs were plagued by significant audio problems and I will need some assurance that such problems are successfully addressed before I would buy additional webcast training from NBI.

I need to catch up in several areas and thus need of a broad range of professional resources for legal research. NBI's membership serves my purpose quite well. Basically, I can find from the NBI course materials what I look for.

Some have been positive. Sometimes the speaker signs on and prepared to discuss a completely different topic. There are way too many emails it makes me think about unsubscribing.
