“The selection at the Queens location (51-05 Flushing) is a joke it is.extremely limited and clearly geared toward prom dresses not mother-of-the-bride/guest dresses. Sizes, colors, and styles are mostly unavailable. You’re expected to try on size 2 or 4 dresses, even though you are 3 sizes up with this type of gown you normally need to size up because the fabric. It makes it impossible to judge fit or look. The staff was completely unhelpful. In my case, they brought me dresses that were always two sizes smaller than my actual size and offered no real suggestions or alternatives. Do not waste $20 on a reservation. They do not respect appointment times at all you end up sharing the space with 5 or 6 other women, all trying to squeeze into the same very limited mother of the bride / wedding options. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience. Save your time and money.”

“The dress is beautiful. The quality is excellent. The material is soft and luxurious. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit, and I did not realize that sale items are not refundable or returnable that would be my only negative complaint however, the dress came in a timely fashion. I would not hesitate to order from New York dressed again however I’d be aware of its refund return policies.”

“I was fully aware of your return policy before placing my order. I ordered a dress size eight. Upon arrival i unpackaged it and it was beautiful. The fit was horrible. There is boning in the bust of the dress. If I knew there was boning I would neber have ordered it. The dress description did not state that. I have emailed about a REFUND and i have not heard back.”

“So intimate and special for my daughter to pick her senior prom dress. Unlike all these overcrowded shops this was personalized. We had our own shopper/stylist who was honest and realistic both in style and fit. Loved it loved it!!!!”

“Very impressed with the quality and finesse of the dress we ordered! I was a bit skeptical to be honest but that turned out to be completely unnecessary. - The fabric was great, and the fit of the dress PERFECT! Highly recommend to follow the measurement chart, it was spot on. We only have to sew the dress a bit up. Quick delivery all the way to Norway. Will definitely order more dresses!”

“I recently purchased an evening gown for an upcoming gala at New York Dress online. We had experience shopping in person at New York dress a couple of years ago in 2024 for my daughter’s high school prom as well. She was definitely the best dressed at prom then and I have no doubt that my gown will be eye-catching and a hit at the gala in March. The gown fit me perfectly and looked exactly as pictured online. The dresses at New York dress are exquisite, customer service is excellent when visiting in person, and delivery is quick. Great place to shop for gowns for any special occasion!!!”

“This gown is amazing! I wore it for my daughter's wedding November 8, 2025 and the compliments were endless! I initially ordered a 14 but it was a tad bit tight on the back with trying to zip it up...NY Dress had no problems sending me a size 16...they saved me!! Thank you NY Dress!”

“NO REFUND POLICY - only credit. Pay attention to the terms and shop elsewhere. I bought dresses from 5 other on-line stores all offered refunds. Nothing outstanding about their options so search the internet more carfully”

“I went to the NYC location and My stylist Maria was great and very helpful! If you go ask for Maria shes amazing. Aswell as Spanish speaking if you’re someone that also speaks Spanish.”
