“Bought a nice designer doormat from Next that was described as easily washable. Unfortunately it didn't have a label on the underside warning to only use wool setting so it got damaged. Wanted to order an identical one. Website claims one week delivery yet we've been strung along for 3 weeks now. It's looking more like a drop shipping operation with goods not even being in the UK.”

“I purchased the dining set and the Blair breakfast bar stools in November … I was thrilled initially with their look … so elegant , however it’s not taken long for them to start already looking old … the padding in the seat is starting to flatten and psh to one side and the wooden ‘step up’ at the base is starting to chip … they are not used daily and only used by adults (absolutely no shoes are worn to cause damage to the wood)”

“When buying an easy chair from NEXT I was assured it would be delivered to the room of choice. The legs would be fitted and all packaging taken away. This was affirmed by text and email on a number of occasions. None of this happened when the chair was delivered this morning,it was left in its packaging and I was told they weren't allowed to unpack and put legs on. I am an elderly widow and wouldn't have purchased the chair if this had been explained to me at time of purchase.”

“Bit of a mixed review, I ordered the Lipsy vip lace long sleeved blouse £50, it came on time but was left on my doorstep, I’d prefer it to have been left with a neighbor, the quality of the blouse was lovely but in the picture the blouse has wide cuffs which I liked but the blouse I received had no cuffs at all just a thin piece of elastic at the end of the sleeve,I kept it as didn’t have time to change it in time for a funeral and as I said apart from the cuffs it is lovely just thought people should know that it isn’t exactly like the pictures”

“The oatmeal burford lampshades that I purchased from next online, don’t look the same colour as the images advertised. They look more of a grey colour. I had bought them to go with my wallpaper and furniture, but because my sofa is grey I have decided to keep them. I thought I would write this review to make people aware that the colour looks different . The shades are good quality though, but they should be for the price I paid for them.”

“Shopped at Next for many years very successfully in terms of household merchandise. Not so impressed with casual ladies wear anymore but at least they are still trading! Love kids wear. Do not like their website one bit. Often difficult to log in and slow to respond at best of times. Much trouble logging in to make payments too. Often says try later...cant be reached at moment. Dont have deliveries any more. Clothes were coming creased, on a couple of occasions fit for the bin they were so poorly packed. Other goods broken. Complaints did, however, get apologies at least. Overall not the same company they once were in my opinion. Pricing actually quite fair mostly I think.”

“I bought the Hampton slim dressing table and also the wide bedside cabinets. I love the furniture it was a real treat for me as it was expensive on my terms but was well made so worth it for me. However I accidentally spilt something on the dressing table and to try to get it off I used something that really was unsuitable and it took the finish off a part of my table. Do therefore I would say if you are a bit clumsy like me and let’s face it done of the stuff we use at the dressing table can mark the worktop. I was mortified I emailed next customer service to see if I would be able to get in touch with the manufacturer for help or even the name of the finish on the furniture. They were no help get an expert was the reply and when I messaged to ask if they could give me details of manufacturer no answer. However I have managed to remedy it myself. YouTube is a wonderful thing. Not good customer service from next though and reading some of the reviews it’s a common complaint”

“Purchased Tankini online. When I picked it up it was minus the bottoms. The product was advertised as a tankini not tankini top. When I checked the White Stuff website for the same product it was very clear it was only the top. Lovely product though so I will keep it but just beware that, in my opinion, it is incorrectly advertised.”

“Item ordered for next day delivery (£3.99) before 1 o’clock! Tracked with courier who advised would be delivered between 10 and 2 - waited in all day, still no sign of parcel! Not good enough Next, sort yourselves out!!!”

“Grey chinos. Bought these last week,already have them in dark blue and was very pleased to see them in grey. Unfortunately, I decided to wash them first as would be easier to iron. Only washed with white bed linen ,but was disappointed as they had pink streaking all over them! Be interested to see if that happens to anyone else. Have not returned, as I would probably be blamed for not washing them correctly, although I absolutely did!”

“Didn't make me happy at all bought item on line arrived with security tag. ????? I paid for unlimited delivery then they asked ME to take it back to store POOR SHOW NEXT STANDARDS DROPPING RAPIDLY”

“the product was tighter than advertised. Sizing was not similar to that of other stores. Also, the ordering process online does not make it clear until the order is placed when you can receive the goods. It showed as in stock and available and I needed it the next day, however, when I placed the order it then showed a 2 day timescale for one part of the order”
