I have bought several items from nobody's child but my most recent purchase was a £120 tailored dress for a wedding. I climbed up a step in the garden area and the dress tore by the bottom button incredibly easily. The fabric quality was poor and nobody's child customer service have told me they will not exchange as I must have put it under great pressure. I didn't! I just climbed up a step! Awful customer service and not what you expect from a dress of that price point. I now have a £120 dusting rag as I can't wear it again!

I ordered a dress for which I paid an extra £5 in postage. The dress was not good and was very tight for a size 14 so I returned the dress only to have £4 deducted from my refund. No response from Nobody's Child concerning the deduction in the refund despite two emails. So, lesson learned not to order on line from them again.

Customer service was absolutely terrible. The telephone number only had a recorded msg and was never answered and my two weeks of upset with emails sent most days did not help! Dreadful customer service !! I would like to write more but there is no space left.

I ordered a top, unfortunately it was such a bad shape that it looked awful on me so I sent it back. I received a refund of £9 less than I'd paid. I queried this only to receive an email saying that I had been charged a £4 return fee and a £5 handling charge Wow! I'm not sure how Nobody's Child has any customers as it's definitely put me off ordering ever again

I paid for next day delivery for an order that never showed up and was clearly delivered to the wrong address. Have raised the issue with nobody’s child to look into and provide me with a full refund. Ten working days later and no reply. No number to call and no one seems to respond to emails. No idea how I will get my money back as no products to return and company doesn’t appear to have anyone working there. I would avoid at all costs - total scam!

They need to make it clear about charging £3 per returns!! It's ridiculous and I will not be buying from them again. I bought a few items in different sizes and has cost me a fortune returning it all!! AVOID

This shop is extremely unreasonable with charges. They take money for “environmental” fees and also for returns, which ends up costing around £8 in total. I accidentally placed an order and contacted them less than 10 minutes later to cancel, but they refused. When I went through with the return, it took 15 days to receive my refund, and they still deducted £8 from it. This experience was very disappointing and feels like a complete rip-off. Please be careful when using this website — think twice before ordering, because if you need to return something, you will end up paying for it. I will not be shopping here again.

I ordered a number of items in good faith and paid for these over a week ago, only to be told there are delays with no further details. There is no customer service number to call, only email which they dont answer fir 2 days. I actually want a refund now due to poor customer service. I wouldnt recommend.

R I’m really disappointed with this company’s return policy. The return window is ridiculously short, and the costs to send items back are outrageously high. It feels like they make returns as difficult as possible. Definitely not a customer-friendly experience.

I have had so many dresses and blouses from you in the past…size10/12. I ordered a 12 in the a Amie halter neck dress which I would say is defiantly small fitting. That’s fair enough some style sizes differ. But it’s cost me nearly £8 for delivery and return … I personally think this is a bit steep. This will certainly put me off ordering again!

Wouldn't be using them again - takes ages to get a refund and when they do refund you, its not even the full amount of the clothing!!

I recently purchased several items from Nobody's Child in their sale and needed to return some of them. I was unaware that sale items only had a 14-day return window (most retailers offer 28–30 days, even on sale items). Tragically, during this 14-day period, I suffered a miscarriage and was admitted to hospital. When I contacted Nobody's Child to explain what had happened and asked to return the items just 24 hours after the deadline, they refused. I was shocked by the complete lack of empathy shown. In contrast, four other companies I contacted—including M&S, who interestingly are part owners of Nobody’s Child—responded with understanding and compassion, processing returns without hesitation. I also have registered learning disabilities, which makes it more likely for me to miss non-standard return policies. Despite explaining this, they still showed no flexibility or human consideration. Nobody’s Child has not only lost me as a customer, but I’ll also be sharing this experience widely. A brand that promotes ethical and sustainable values should apply the same principles to how it treats its customers—with kindness and humanity. Sadly, that was not my experience.

Terrible customer service and breaking consumer rights! Ordered a dress which was bobbling after an hours wear despite following proper care instructions. Nobodys child refusing to honour a refund despite being legally obliged to. Dress made of cheap nasty polyester. Another greenwashing scam of a company probably going under and trying to cling to ever penny even if they are acting unlawfully! Will never shop here or recommend again.

Trustpilot reviews Thanks for your review! Nobody's Child logo Nobody's Child Your review is pending.Read more Natasha Sawyer 5 reviews GB Rated 1 out of 5 stars Sneaky tactics & terrible customer service I placed my first order with this company recently and ordered a couple of items from their archive sale. One item was fine, the other was too big. I went online to generate a return and couldn't. Assuming the website wasn't working correctly, I contacted customer services to help. I received an automated email (which suggests they have received a large number of similar emails) telling me that I can't return items from the archive sale! Shocked, I replied explaining that I was not happy about this, to be told that it was "clearly stated" that you couldn't return, well it wasn't, otherwise I wouldn't have ordered it! I asked if I could at least exchange for a smaller size and was told no. Absolutely terrible customer service and very sneaky tactics to try and force customers into keeping and paying for stock that they are trying to get rid of. I can see by the other reviews that others have also been stung. I won't be ordering again and would suggest others are very careful.

I would like to give zero stars. My entire experience with Nobody’s Child is a total farce. I would highly recommend people not to order from them. I placed an order early on the 28th August. I received no update, 5 days later I mailed their customer service. 4 mails later and days after I received an email to say I should have gotten express postage and the tracking would be updated shortly. This was two days ago. The tracking still has not updated. I contact the courier. They advised the parcel was not scanner therefore the sender has not sent it. I have sent multiple mails and have gotten one snotty, short response. I would never order from this company again. Beware: they have no phone number for obvious reasons and they just don’t answer their mails. AVOID ORDERING FROM HERE.
