First, it was a long wait just to get a sales person to assist me. I'd already decided which smartphone I wanted. The sales person was polite but tried to get me to pay for "extras" I did NOT want or need, like a warranty and set-up fee. The sales person claimed that the Consumer Guarantees Act doesn't cover phone batteries "because they are consumables". (This is just not true.) I also wanted a screen protector and the sales person told me I should pay an extra $10 for a staff member to fit the screen protector because, if I did it, I would probably damage the phone. It was so insulting that I told the sales person not to insult me (response, "I'm sorry if it seems that way"!) and walked out without buying anything. I am not going near Noel Leeming again. Not an isolated experience - another sales person had told me the set-up fee for a smartphone was $100 - but it's actually $49.99!

Too many to enumerate - firstly my C/Card was not accepted - never failed b4. Third try and help from bank got that done. Then no delivery date given - after 14 days but phoned (don't!) to eventually get delivery company which has no tracking system. Rang delivery company - coming today (120k's) new TV - Sadly I had paid for a dishwasher - my TV! was arriving today until I told them and N L (useless) I bought a d/washer. No tracking system with this freight company (based in China) - what's wrong with NZ freighters - had I not made that enquire I would be receiving a new TV sometime today - just absolute inefficiency, incompetence and vague online help. NEVER AGAIN! Yeah and I will happily put my name not like most cowards writing here!

I will never shop in Noel Leeming Pukekohe again. Manager called me a LIAR well actually shouted it across the shop. Tried to return an item that my husband bought after a staff member said the product was the same spec as my previous item. Got it home and no it wasn't . The Manager said my husband did not speak to anyone in the store. But was able to tell me that my last product was discontinued. So who is the Liar.

Got an oven worth $2000. Stop working in two months repair came and said got lot of issues need to replace some parts.. had long wait and finely got money back and got another oven from them but charged for delivery charge twice even they agreed the first one was a faulty oven.. first oven got delivered after 12 days from lalbay store ( they told delivery in three working days ) second time I explained my situation so they said will call the next day morning to inform the delivery time after 5 days still no call loose hope went to harvey norman brought a cooking plate and a slow cooker .. Spend lot of money in the past but not any more. Suggest go away from them customer service is so poor

Ordered product online, it was not sent out. Three follow ups and 4 weeks later, was assured it would be sent the next day. Two follow ups and 3 weeks later it had not been sent. This incompetence is appalling

bought a dishwasher, it took 3 weeks to recieve. they turned up to install ripped my dishwasher out (working fine, but due to be replaced) then found the new one was not working, tried to reinstall my dishwasher without sucess then waited a week to deliver replacement unit. various emails and phone calls sent to be told wait 24-48 hours for a return phone call or email. still not recieved. dont buy from this company they dont care

Bought a laptop which apon starting I discovered had already been used and registered to someone else. I also found that the memory card slot was not functioning and the latch on the battery cover had been glued shut! When I returned it 3 days later and demanded a replacement I was told it would have to be sent for assement and repair. I'd have to wait 2 or 3 weeks. Never again Mr Leeming.

Noel leeming price match policy is fake. They’ll find any lame excuse available not to match it. Never ever buy from this cheap store.

So bad! I canceled an order because we were leaving the country and not going to be at the Airbnb any longer. It was well past the delivery dates. I canceled 6 days before they even shipped it. Plenty of time to cancel the shipment. Product went to the house we were no longer there. I requested a refund. They said I need to ship the product back. That I need to contact our host and ask if they can help. WTF! No I'm not going to ask our host to do that. The head phones were $20. Just give me my money back people. I've spend so much time on chat, email and phone. For stupid headphones. I'm not going to stop though. Just don't order from them.

NL tried to swindle me out of my warranty for an ipad, even when they had a copy of my invoice. NL emailed me, saying my ipad serial # actually belonged to someone elses invoice, who had the same last name as mine and had bought the same ipad 2 years ago.

The Noel Leeming team is inconsistent and useless. I placed an online order for an iphone which on their website they specified was in stock. I specifically chose the one I purchased because it said it was in stock unlike one of a different colour which wasn't. After one day waiting for the call from one of their 'specialised experts' who was meant to call me when my phone was ready to be collected. I decided to ring the store, to which a rude man picked up the phone and was very disinterested in what I was trying to find out about my phone. He said "I don't know where your phone is, we don't have that information yet. I am outraged at this false advertising. I specifically purchased from noel leeming because their online store said that they had this phone in stock where others said it would take 1 - 2 weeks. Now it is looking like mine will take 1 - 2 weeks. I have send Noel Leeming 3 emails during their online 'open' hours and they haven't replied to any of them. I sat on the phone on hold for 40 minutes trying to get a hold of a real person, however I am a busy person and my schedule could not wait for their horrendous customer service people to pick up. I am very disappointed and would rather my money back so that I can spend it at a more reputable company.

Bought a brand new fridge freezer from Warkworth Noel lemmings. Unpacked it and turned it on to find the compressor isn’t mounted correctly. Huge vibration and rattle. A week later still waiting for a date to have it fixed. Which means I’m totally without a fridge/freezer 😡

Noel Leeming is by far the WORST retailer in NZ. I have spend so much money with these guys in the past, but they have finally broken me. Have you ever tried to get hold of anyone at NL? They tell you the phone wait time is around 30 minutes, but I have waited over an hour to talk to someone, who it end sit hasn’t got a bloody clue, nor gives a dam about giving you reasonable service. The chat line on the website is a joke and seldom works. I really don’t know how you expect to stay in business you guys, your reputation like your service, sucks

Got a message that item was delivered that in fact was not. Sent e mail no reply. Tried to call. They are saying waiting time 7 to 9 minute, but have to wait hours without any success.

Purchased a laptop on line then told not in stock, cancelled and 4 days later a courier tried to deliver it, refused delivery then ran the gauntlet to get our money back fortunately we did after many emails and phone calls. We used to buy from NL not any more.

After 13 days of waiting for my order to arrive for which the sent me an E receipt and taking my payment I phoned and after a 35 min wait I was told they don’t have that item in stock so I am getting a refund, How long I have to wait for it who knows.

WARNING: As an essential item during Covid 19, Noel Leeming are basically still selling fridges (in our case Samsung 318 Litre Fridge Freezer) online and are still taking your money (as I have just tried to buy one on the 15-04-2020 again online takes you to the checkout and no problems of stock-outs mentioned) for a product they do not have or at this point cannot get from their suppliers or guarantee it can be got or mention that they do not have it, is that legal? It took me an hour to get through to the helpline (BTW don't believe the message saying it will take between 10 to 15 mins ... that is just plain wrong it took me 58 mins of waiting ... when you get through they will fob you off with supposed to check stock availability and call you back but heard nothing as yet ... should only take about 20 mins to find this out where are they going to call the supplier .... China or somewhere outside NZ). After I bought the fridge I got an email about a week ago just mentioning busy delivery but no mention that it is a stock-out. This will be my last time dealing with them online (or even at store) as I have had a bad experience in delivery before the lock-down also due to inadequately trained personnel installing items causing damage. What a shame ... prepare for major disappointment ... they do not seem to care about the customer ... if this is their customer experience then maybe it can't be long before they head the way of a now defunct fast-food company. To others I suggest as a consumer show your sustain for such treatment and leave feedback for others.

Worse online service i have ever experienced. Twice used and twice they failed to deliver and waiting up to 1 month to get a refund. 1st time i bought a RC helicopter for xmas 2019. I didn't arrive. They had sold out even though the ad said it was in stock, and took payment. After many requests for my refund was told it hsd to go through Australia and they were on holiday. It took 5 weeks to get my refund. No apology. Now this time i bought a printer and paper to have something to do during lockdown. The ad said order within 4 hours and guaranteed delivery within 48 hrs. Again they took payment. Sent email saying order was packed. Sent another email saying it was with the courier. It never arrived. I asked for track and trace number and was given a B/S (false) tracking number. 5 days later they admitted it never left the store and did i want a refund? Yes i replied. I am still waiting for the refund. 18 days now and still no sign of a refund. I would seriously urge people to be warned that the 2 times i have used the online shooping i have had 100% poor service. Lied to. And when i gets to difficult they bury their heads in the sand and ignore you. I am down $217:00 and wondering if I will ever get my money back
