Unexpected mouthful of sediment aside (yeuch!!!), this is a flavoursome, enjoyable wine. But have the strainer to hand for the last glassful!

The ordering process was great, but the tracking service left a lot to be desired. The purchase was as a gift, but I was informed of the delivery progress with the ultimate, freakily incorrect message that the wine had been delivered to my address. I checked all around and it wasn't anywhere to be seen so I was forced to check with the correct recipient to ensure that it actually had been delivered to the correct address. Please fix this!

I am, as always, very happy with OBriens wine but I am not at all happy with the courier used! After a week of rerouting the parcel they eventually delivered it to the wrong place and I had to ask someone to deliver it to someone else to deliver for me.

Hi Noelle, I am so sorry about the delivery difficulties that you experienced. I can see that you were in touch with our customer service team just before Christmas and that they were able to get this resolved with the courier. As a gesture of goodwill and a way of apology, I have refunded the delivery charge for this order. The parcel should have been delivered well before the 22nd and our customer service team will follow this up in the January with the courier on your behalf. Your delivery service provider just left boxes of the order sitting on the doorstep and did not seem to make any effort to ring the bell or communicate with the occupants. Took a bit of a chance that we would eventually receive the delivery.

The wine is good. The staff helpful and the delivery much quicker than expected. Almost too quick. It would have been nice to have been able to specify a delivery date.

All Good. The order was delivered on time, as per the updates. The wines were for a friend. So although I couldn't comment on them personally, the feedback is very good!

While O’Briens didn’t have the wine I wanted in stock, its customer service was very responsive and I was able to send an alternate wine. I live in the States and enjoyed the convenience and assurance of using O’Briens to send to my friends in NI.

Hi, the wine choices were great, the delivery landed on time, all good. Let down a little because the packaging inside the cardboard box cheapened the gift and none of the deliveries had the requested gift note included..just a bit disappointed as I myself had received a gift last year and the packaging was spot on, and the wine came in a wooden gift box.

I have flagged this with the warehouse manager so that he can ensure our team is vigilant about putting these in each order that includes a message. I am sorry that you were disappointed with the appearance of your order. I can see that you ordered x2 wine cases, these are not packed in presentation boxes as outlined on our site. We do have pre-packed gifts that arrive in presentation boxes which are ideal to send to a special someone directly or to order to bring to an occasion. Courier service wasnt great and left one of my packages in the bin. 2 of the boxes where scuffed. But over all service ok and all packages received within 2 days of order

Excellent and timely online service from O’Briens. Would give 5 stars except for DPD delivery. It is NOT acceptable to throw a box of wine marked FRAGILE over a boundary wall instead of opening a gate. Fortunately no bottles broke.
