“This order was delivered quickly. There was better alignment of vintages than the last order, when a large number of the vintages were different to what were ordered. This time only 2 were. A minor quibble I have is the amount of packing in which the consignment comes. Do you ever think of shipping with cardboard boxes with upright, criss cross cardboard panels, which would allow much less waste?”

Would you mind sending these on to online@obrienswine.ie so that we can get these amended as soon as possible? In terms of our packaging, all of our online orders are packed in transit friendly packaging and are packed in line with our carriers insurance standards. We apologise for its bulky nature but as a company we have committed to reducing our footprint with our packaging and so do not use single-use plastic in our shipping. Please note that the outer box is fully recyclable and the inner 'egg carton' packaging is fully compostable. If I can be of any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact me. “Really liked the bottle of the eco bottle of wine, very innovative and great to see wine makers trying new things. The subscription is a great way to try wines you’d never pick yourself. Ordering and postponing deliveries is easy and delivery was great .”

“I bought these wines for future use so can't review them just now. A great turnaround on the order, very fast response. The downside is that DPD dumped the box on the doorstep and disappeared. It's lucky itwasn't taken by a passerby before I discovered it. They were even cheeky enough to send me a photo of the box at the doorway - as proof of delivery! This puts you at risk of credibility with customer service and security of the supply chain - hence just a 4.”
