“I have been corresponding with Octopus Energy for a few weeks regarding my being able to fully benefit from the smart meter installed. Poor mobile reception at my home appeared to be frustrating the commissioning and functionality of my meter. I have solar panels that export to the grid, but I have to date been unable to get the best export rate available and I have had to submit my own meter readings for electricity used.
As requested by OE I contacted them by telephone today to carry out a remote meter commissioning procedure. I was accordingly connected to Emily who patiently talked me through the commissioning procedure, which was eventually completed successfully. Emily was a delight to deal with and between us the procedure was straightforward and easy to complete, although we had to start over when unexpected messages popped up suggesting we had gone off script ! Thanks Emily, you are a star.”
