They don’t keep doubling my bill like other energy companies try to do. I paid too much this time and it was very easy to get a refund. Staff were efficient and very helpful to balance my usage.

I have just moved to Octopus from Scottish Power. The reason is somewhat complicated, but Scottish Power customer service was civil enough but unhelpful, hadn't turned up on an appointment date and, in the end, stated they couldn't provide what was requested. Octopus, via the customer service guy, Amman, was everything you could hope for in dealing with a change via a large company. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable, explaining details in a very clear and concise manner, promising to provide what was requested, and giving me confidence that the change-over would be smooth and without difficulty. I had heard good things about Octopus Energy from a couple of friends and that is why I chose them when I needed to move from Scottish Power.

Spoke to Mark today about my account and had several queries. Mark was very helpful! He was pleasant, nothing appeared a bother to him and he listened! Customer care was excellent! Thank you Mark! 😀

Shocking Customer Service – Ongoing Billing Harassment After Account Closure I am absolutely appalled by the way Octopus Energy has handled my closed account. Despite repeatedly submitting all required end-of-tenancy documentation and receiving written confirmation that my account was fully settled, I continue to be harassed with incorrect billing demands. This has been an exhausting and infuriating experience. I’ve wasted hours on the phone, only to be left on hold, disconnected, and ignored—multiple times. There seems to be no internal communication, no accountability, and no respect for customers' time or mental wellbeing. What should have been a routine closure has turned into a drawn-out saga of incompetence. I feel completely let down by a company I once considered reliable. If this matter is not resolved once and for all, I will be escalating it through formal complaints and relevant regulatory bodies. Avoid if you value your time and sanity. — Tom White

Dexter was extremely efficient, went through every aspect thoroughly, and gave all relevant details as required. I am extremely happy with his actions and the Octopus system, way better than the Mickey Mouse run-around I was given by Scottish Power. Well done, happy to be working with you !

As usual octopus had great costumer service, my email was answered very quickly by Nia and she was very helpful with my queries. This is part of the reason why I decided to keep Octopus as my electricity / gas provider for my moves as they have been the absolute best
