A big thank you to Mark who has been so very helpful. How good to be helped by someone who I felt was genuinely interested in sorting out any issues. Mark was polite and professional, he clearly knew what he was doing and got to the problem quickly. He then rectified the error immediately. Absolutely excellent customer service..... I'm a relatively new customer so this confirms to me that I made the right choice. Thank you Mark

I spoke to Waverley as I was concerned about my high electric standing charge … she gave me the option of moving to a cheaper rate which has a lower charge … this was really helpful and explained the unit rates etc which made my decision easy …

Very polite and helpful agent (Mo) who done his best to resolve the fact that my account hadn't been opened and processed two weeks after submitting information requested. If he had not forgotten to submit a meter upgrade request as promised it would have been 5 stars. Instead, my business has been dead in the water without 3-phase power since the 6th of April and today is the 21st of May... I'm told to hang on for another 10 weeks or more for the upgrade. If you need to upgrade your supply, Octopus Energy isn't for you, stay clear. If you only need great flexible rates, they have the best I could find. Overall, I'm personally very disappointed but that doesn't mean this will be the same for you and some else (Georgi) has picked up on this today, hopefully I will have a positive update to post and not in September!

This message is about Waverly the young girl that helped me out today. She was very polite and calm, knew how to deal with a complicated move of my account from business to domestic which has been going on and on. Im really pleased about how much we resolved. When i next call and if Waverly took my call that would be a bonus.

I have just escaped from British Gas (BG) who forced me to remain as a customer for 6 months on false pretences and am delighted to be with Octopus. My first bill was based on wrong data supplied to Octopus by BG so I rang and was helped by Joseph Richards. What a change from BG! He was intelligent (just being a human being was an improvement on BG Bots), listening, analytical, fast and sensitive to my distress at apparently being back in a wrong billing situation. He explained how all the regulations on transfers work and treated me as an intelligent customer. He was decisive and offered advice on my whole situation with tariffs etc, not just the matters I had raised. I am confident that he has now smoothed my passage to Octopus by sorting problems which weren't their fault and gaining my confidence.
