I was a little panicked when my account was on hold due to a credit file issue. Thomas was absolutely lovely on the phone and explained everything to me very clearly and resolved the problem within 2 minutes of my phone call. I wasn’t put on hold and they answered almost immediately. So glad to be a customer and will be for the forseeable!

Since I have been living abroad for several years I have no credit rating here. I phoned custmer service in a anxious state and Alex soon reassured me that I could sign up and sorted out a deposit over the phone immediately.

I submitted an indemnity claim after Octopus Energy withdrew an extra £220 from my account, even though I had already moved out a month earlier and paid what they labelled a “final bill.” That final bill was an inflated charge to clear a supposed debt for a one-bedroom flat, where we were being charged close to £300 per month. We found this completely unreasonable given our normal energy usage. We raised a dispute and requested a debt waiver, but Octopus took the money anyway without properly addressing our concerns. Their response was essentially, “It’s already been taken, nothing we can do,” and all follow-up attempts to get real support went nowhere. No resolution. No accountability. Just an expensive lesson. I wouldn’t use Octopus Energy again.

I phoned with a concern and within minutes Jamie-Leigh had resolved this issue and stopped me thinking about switching energy suppliers. She was professional, helpful and friendly. I would now recommend Octopus to everybody. Fantastic customer service!! Thank you.

Thank you Raiyan. I spoke with you yesterday. I recently bought my new house and wanted to swap to Octopus. Because of my recent move I had to call due to you not having my previous address. I had a complete block with the address details and couldn’t remember my previous postcode. You were so calm and polite whilst you waited for my details. What you didn’t know was that at the same time of my purchase and move date, my mum died. 2 major life events in one with 2 very little children. Whilst I was packing to move I was issued with a death certificate and when we unpacked we had her funeral! It has been the most difficult period of my life and probably explains my complete block yesterday. Thank you for your calm demeanour. You were polite and gave me the time I needed. It’s very much appreciated!

Although the message when I called Octopus said they were busy the phone was answered very quickly by Raiyan who explained everything about switching very clearly. I was able to complete the switch process straight away and Octopus will inform my previous supplier. Raiyan made the process very easy, thank you

I couldn't be happier with the service I have just received with Zak P at Octopus's Customer Service Department. This lovely true gentleman Zak couldn't have been more helpful, polite, kind, courteous, patient, friendly and nice if he tried. Zak explained everything to me in great detail and didn't try to rush me, or rush me off the phone as some companys do unfortunately! Nothing was to much trouble for him, he went above and beyond! Thank you very much Zak, you are an absolute credit to Octopus. I am so glad I have come on board with Octopus, not just because of the great prices, but especially having such a fabulous Customer Service Department. Well done Octopus.

Excellent customer service - phone answered by Beth ( who was friendly, understandable and efficient ) in seconds . Been with Octopus for a couple of years now and their website and service are refreshingly good compared with the competition . I fixed for 12 months at prices around 5% more than the cheapest but :- that was with a company I'd never heard of - and - they had exit fees . So if prices suddenly fall , unlikely I know , I can now move tariff without penalty . We're knocking on and suspicious of smart meters but the Flex tariff looks interesting .
