She patiently listed to my reason for calling, arranged for a date for a new smart meter to be installed and answered carefully & clearly my questions. She explained that she would send me additional information to apply for my Smart Export Guarantee and it arrived in my my inbox within a few minutes of finishing the call. “Jay Bradbury was excellent. He was very patient as I shared my concerns about different Octopus flux or Octopus Intelligent flux. I discussed the fact that I have a Tesla power wall and solar panels. Jay suggested that there were options and he suggested Intelligent flux because that would make my life easier. I tried talking with Tesla and it all sounded too much. So I have chosen to do Octopus flex because Octopus will provide me with the most efficient service in terms of import and export. I am planning now to try to complete my Octopus Intelligent Flux.
Jay helped me to make this decision as I didn't want to have to deal with import and export info. He also suggested that I might possibly need SMETs 2, but felt that the previous SMET should be OK, biut if needed this operation would be quite simple..”
