“Ok, so it has been 4 months after I got my speeding ticket and decided to pay $100 to OffTheRecord because I had nothing to loose. I got ticketed at a town far from where I live, as everyone right now money is tight, and thinking about the hefty fine and big increase in insurance’s premium gave me pure anxiety. Well, I’m happy to say it worked!!! OffTheRecord and the attorney they paired me with in the area where I got my speeding ticket (both great at customer service) managed to reduce my ticket to a no-moving violation. Now I pay way less in fine and do not have to worry about my insurance increasing (lesson learned for speeding too, for sure). “I was a little skeptical at first to trust and online company to handle my traffic ticket. I was ticketed for doing 91 in a 65 zone on the freeway in California. 26+ mph over the speed limit carries a higher penalty than just speeding. I was looking at a fine of almost $500 and a point on my driving record. I looked into a couple of online companies and I chose Off The Record over the other company because Off The Record assigns your case to a lawyer who actually appears in court on your behalf. The application part was easy. I answered some questions about my violation in the online form on their website. At the end of the questionnaire, I was given a quote of $240, less than half of the cost of the fine. I really did not want a point on my driving record and didn't want to pay any more than I had to. I did not want to appear in court and fight the ticket on my own. I read many positive reviews and did some other research to determine the legitimacy of Off The Record, I even called the number on the website and I was greeted by an actual person who explained the process. There is also a guarantee that if they don't win your case, you don't have to pay. I decided to complete the online application and pay $240 rather than $500 and a point on my driving record. Shortly thereafter I received an email introducing me to the lawyer who would represent my case in court. There is an online website that is used to communicate with the your lawyer. You can ask any questions you have in the online form and your lawyer will respond, usually within a day or less. I was informed of my court date and told I was not required to appear unless I felt my appearance would help my case. I chose not to attend since taking a day off work is also a substantial cost to me. On the day of my court case I got an email telling me the case had been dismissed. I could not be more satisfied with both my experience with OTR and the outcome of my case. I highly recommend this service and will definitely use them in the future should I have a need to do so.”
