The fact I had to pay over one hundred pounds to book the assustance b4 you would even log the breakdown is a disgrace, I’m covered for roadside assistance and should not have to pay! The assistance was quick and the third party company was very good but I need a refund for the recovery home I didn’t need and I can’t get through to anybody for help with this !

A flat tyre just after I pulled out around the corner. One Call sent a recovery who discovered a nail in a very new tyre. Swopped over my temp wheel and I was able to drive to tyre shop The cost was not good £20 call out but + £35 for anything wheel related. I will look in to a different insurance that properly covers breakdown and flat tyres as feel too high a cost for a short fix.

Could not have been quicker, being an OAP I was really pleased with prompt service and not having to wait around in the cold.Telephone service was excellent ( but not everybody has a Smartphone) might be an idea to ask? Only letdown was the actual driver who must have been having an off day....did nothing but moan from beginning to end of call out.

on 16th February while towing my caravan along the M5 I had a puncture in one of my caravan tyres at 11.30 am. I pulled over on to the hard shoulder and phoned One Call to be told if I was in a dangerous position I should ring 101. I rang 101 and after 90 minutes I got through and explained the situation. After waiting for over 1 hour I rang 101 again and said I was in a desperate situation. I then got a call back from the police saying it was my insurance company who should be dealing with it. It is now coming up to 5pm. I rang One Call again and the person who handled the situation this time was very good, I think her name was Leanne, she kept us in touch with what was happening. Around 9pm (10 hours from when we broke down) we were finally taken off the M5 and the driver handled the situation very well. Our major problem was created when our first call to One Call was not handled properly. Once we got things moving it was handled ok.

Online breakdown report was really good and easy to use . However the wait time was ridiculous . reported around 10:30am and was told 1:24pm estimate recovery and someone would be in touch . 2;10 I eventually got a call from a lovely chap who said I’ll be there in 45 mins and get you home . Arrived exactly on the time he said he would. Loaded me up and drove me all the way back to leicester . Our recovery guy was fantastic , just the waiting times was not. Total of 4.5 hour wait .

Lady I called early in the morning on Sunday was certainly courteous and very helpful with detailed information of what to expect but the company meant to help me wasn't very helpful, rather impatient, got the feeling he didn't want to do anything but set out to lecture me in a condescending manner, claiming my nut wheel head was damaged, not ready to offer alternatives as states instructed by company which was besides the point. I eventually had to call someone else to help change the tyre and fit another which all in all took minutes.

Took for ever to get the breakdown request sorted. Couldn’t do it online. A nightmare.!!! Third call to customer service who organised the breakdown service easily. Quick response within the hour but sent a breakdown lorry. He started my car for me but couldn’t confirm what was wrong with my car as it wasn’t his lorry & no tools!! He was very helpful though & followed me home in case I broke down. Which was great because the thought Of trying to get help again frankly would have been a nightmare.A relieved customer to be home with my car but it’s won’t start again now & hopefully I will get it started at home by jump leads & get it to my garage to be inspected & told what’s wrong with the car. This usually happens from my breakdown service. A Very disillusioned customer

When I managed to speak to a person on the phone everything fell together and I got good service.. As for ONE CALLS phone number being out of service and having to speak through text and go through a portal that does not work, I am very disappointed. It took me nearly an hour to eventually talk to someone. That's why I given a generous 3 stars..

Rang One Call at around 2pm and received Good service from the telephone agent, who said someone would be with me by 15.40pm. Mechanic arrived 20 mins before time given, after 10mins he said nothing he can do to help and rang through explaining to me that I would need recovery assistance and One Call would be back in touch with me. After approx 30 mins One Call rang back and only after confirming payment would they ring for recovery. Received a text from them saying Recovery would be with me by 17.42 pm, by 18.00 pm nobody had arrived and was just about to ring One Call when I got a text from the recovery guy saying he would be with me in approx 45-60 mins. Recovery vehicle finally arrived at 18.50, 2 1/2 hours after initial phone call. I am not complaining about the service from the One Call telephone agent but having to wait approx 5 hours from time of call to vehicle being recovered seems to be an awful long time to wait especially as the mechanic and recovery came from the same company who were stationed just 20 mins down the road.

Helpful telephone response, finding my location online quickly from my obscure description of the main road slipway I had pulled into. response within 65 mins, not rush hour & central city location, was disappointed that only a recovery vehicle operative who after telling me to switch on engine informed me it was broke, however, they were very pleasant so maybe just me who didn’t find the humour in that 😂. Remove car to specified garage of choice within approx 30 mins

Chap that turned up looked like I was an inconvenience to his day. He spoke very little and mostly ignored my questions. My car was turning over so realised it was battery. He quickly jump-started my car and asked for my keys and floored the throttle. He told me to drive for an hour which I did. The next day I started my car and the engine warning light came up saying reduced engine power and then car would only go about 15mph. I drove it to the garage where it cost me £300 for battery and new throttle pedal. Would I use One call again? No thanks!

When my car broke down taking my kids to school, the guy I initially spoke to was rather evasive and unhelpful and actually cut me off as I was arranging to pay the call out fee. He even suggested the call out mechanic wouldn't be able to diagnose the problem and would just ask me to contact a garage! However, when I called again a minute later, the 2nd advisor was very helpful and when the recovery man turned up within the hour he restored my faith as he looked at the problem and then towed my car to my usual garage a few miles away. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
