“It took 6hrs to get to me in the freezing cold. The responses were courteous but lacked information. No texts came thru with info. The driver was great very professional and helped enormously when he realised how cold i was.”

“Not sorted. Flat battery (having been away abroad for a while) was checked, engine fired but did not start. Ascertained out of fuel, which was evidently a theft of fuel while I had been away. Rescue service should have included getting fuel and starting the car engine, which was not offered.”

“I needed to call One Call rescue after the exhaust on the car unexpectedly came off. There was still just over an hours journey to get home. The advisor on the phone did initially say I could drive it home but due to the distance left I didn’t feel that was probably a good idea for a variety of reasons. Wayne from Gerec Ltd arrived about 45 mins later after having phoned to speak to me. Wayne was very professional, reassuring & friendly & got the car, my daughter, my two dogs & I safely home to our front door. Thank you very much. We really appreciated the rescue.”

“Overall customer service was very helpful and the Breakdown service arrival was quicker than expected. But do we really need to listen to the recording’s when you have had a breakdown in freezing temperatures.Give us a human being to assist us .”

“Rang to report breakdown at 9.30am. Was told would be dealt with by 10.55am. waited untill 11.25 as no show, no text no contact at all. Was then told it would be 1.30pm. As no texts or contact decided to ring and check and was told it would now be 3.30pm. I had been stuck without food, water for a very long time so was not happy it would be well over six hours from first call. I explained how upset I was, as I could not feel safe it would be 3.30pm as might be changed again to 5.30pm. during all this there was no texts, calls or information given to me. I understand things can go wrong but five hours is NOT acceptable. I had to arrange my own collection which I done within 15mins and was picked up and taken to destination. It was a very bad and stressful day for me.”
