“Overall customer service was very helpful and the Breakdown service arrival was quicker than expected. But do we really need to listen to the recording’s when you have had a breakdown in freezing temperatures.Give us a human being to assist us .”

“Rang to report breakdown at 9.30am. Was told would be dealt with by 10.55am. waited untill 11.25 as no show, no text no contact at all. Was then told it would be 1.30pm. As no texts or contact decided to ring and check and was told it would now be 3.30pm. I had been stuck without food, water for a very long time so was not happy it would be well over six hours from first call. I explained how upset I was, as I could not feel safe it would be 3.30pm as might be changed again to 5.30pm. during all this there was no texts, calls or information given to me. I understand things can go wrong but five hours is NOT acceptable. I had to arrange my own collection which I done within 15mins and was picked up and taken to destination. It was a very bad and stressful day for me.”

“Lovely guy, Tony, from Automania, took me to a tyre shop. It took him 4 hours in heavy traffic, because of severe rain. Tyre shop, Whitton Tyres, fixed a new tyre for my car in 15 minutes. I didn’t have to wait at all.”

“I rang at 16.00 and told that the operator would be with me an 17.50. I contacted you and was told they would arrive within 15. 30 mins. He didn't come until after 7.30 and I had been left waiting for 3.5 hours in the cold. The car couldn't be fixed and told that a tow truck would arrive in the next half hour. 45 minutes later it still hasn't arrived and I rang you again and was informed that a tow truck would not be coming until the next day and I would need to contact yourselves the next day I've done this and informed that a tow truck would arrive approximately 1.40 minutes later. I have paid for a gold standard policy and frankly that's a joke I am going to lodge a formal complaint and ask for a refund and cancel my cover because the service is substandard. I am still waiting for a tow truck to arrive”

“Very quick response to my request for breakdown assistance. Along with regular communication to advise on time scales. The mechanic was polite, courteous and ensured I was ok, fully explaining everything and making recommendations. Great service thank you Pappa Bear!”
