“its been a long journey but finally very happy with my sight.everybody done their bit with me from livingston to motherwell to silverburn where i had a very good surgeon who guided me through the whole thing.its been life changing even my golf has come on leaps”

“I have been thinking of having laser surgery for a VERY long time. Each time i considered it i was very frightened of the procedure and convinced myself out of fear not to have it done. Eventually, i could not stand wearing contact lenses any more due to them being uncomfortable and decided it was "now or never". The procedure itself was not so traumatic as i imagined and recovery was much better than i thought it would be. Apart from dry eyes sometimes and my left eye vision not being as good as the right, i have been satisfied with the outcome so far.”

“I was very impressed that my sight was quite sharp even on the same evening after surgery, although the eye was a bit sore. The sight improved further in the next 2 to 3 days, and the soreness was mostly gone by the day following surgery. The improvement in quality of life, in terms of self confidence and freedom from dependence on contact lenses or glasses really has been life changing. I should have had the procedure years ago, and would definitely recommend it from my own experience. The staff at Optical Express were very supportive and helpful at each step and throughout the aftercare period. Many thanks!”

“Just a little pain and discomfort just after the surgery, this only lasted for about an hour. Yhen it was great I was able to see clearly for the first time in many years without having to wear glasses. Freedom”

“Better than 20/20 vision is something I didn't even know was possible, but now I have it. You never really realise how much of a nuisance glasses are until you get rid of them, and it's really changed my life for the better. The surgery could have been better as I had to wait several hours before being operated on, although this may have been an isolated incident, and I would recommend that the surgery be done at the Birmingham branch (not where I had the proceedure) as I have never had trouble with appointments. The staff were exceptionally professional, perfectly courteous, and made me feel welcome. One thing I would stress before having the procedure is the uncomfortableness of the operation and the pain afterwards, but if you think you can bear a little pain and discomfort, the rewards are well worth it.”

“I used my glasses nearly 15 years, sometimes it's a realy uncompatable to use specially doing sports or at gym. So I got a decition to get rid off glasses by laser eye treatment, after good market reaserch I choos Optical Express as a good trustable place to do my treatments. The surgery was about 10-15 minutes and it was not a big deal so I felt good and positive about my surgery, but unfortunately I had a complication called DLK. Then I had to do second treatment ASAP in this situation Optical Express really take care about my case and did all the things very well to recover my eyes soon as posible. I take a chance of this to thanks to all of the staff who help me to do my surgery and big thanks to Optical Express give my eyes back...”
