“My eye sight had been deteriorating since i was about 18 and steadily getting worse that at about 27 i finally gave in and got glasses which i found i became extrememly reliant upon. Then with 2 young children pulling on them in my 30's there was the fear of them being broken. My mother offered to pay for my eyes to be lasered and i took the opportunity. My 2 sisters in law had both had their eyes lasered with Optical Express so i had no hesitation in coming here and the service has been second to none. The team in New Bridge were so nice and put you at your ease. I actually couldn't believe by the end of the day on which the surgery had been done that my eyes were already feeling comfortable and they have only improved since. Life with my daughters has become much more fun and less pulling out of me for my glasses!! Thanks a million for all the work and support of the service. It is a life changing and improving experience. Thanks a mill again Aisling Hennessy”

“It was a dark life before eye surgery but now the light is in my life and I can see like normal people, even though my wife still says I'm special. It is excellent and well worth having done :-)”

“A positive experience that is only slightly more hassle than actually getting your eyes tested. I have very sensitive eyes and was really not looking forward to the surgery but I am really glad I did it now and the consultants and staff make it sound worse or a bigger procedure than it actually seemed to be. I'm glad I received all the information that I did and I am very happy and grateful with the after care service.”

“I was always scared to do laser eye surgery as I had heard negative reviews from the internet. However, after my initial consultation I found out all the information I needed and spoke to a few people that had it done. I decided to go for the surgery. BEST DECISION I have made in years!”

“Having laser eye surgery is the best thing I've ever done and I wish I'd had it done years ago. I am recommending it to everyone and as soon as we can afford it my husband will have his eyes lasered too. It really is brilliant, much much better than I could ever have imagined. The service and care at Optical Express Cardiff has been excellent.”

“I had worn glasses for the best part of 20 years. As I have become more active I found wearing glasses increasingly inconvenient. Laser eye surgery has been fantastic. I was apprehensive but for the small amount of discomfort for a short time it was just a fantastic transofrmation as I now have better than 20:20 vision!”

“My eyes are very comfortable now I am a month post surgery. My vision is now better than 20/20 and although I still need glasses for close up work, it is lovely not to have to put contact lenses in each day or wear distance glasses which I always found very uncomfortable. I am told that my eyes have healed up very well which I am relieved about. My night vision is still not quite right at this stage as I am experiencing halos around lights but I am confident that this will improve in time. I found the procedure extremely traumatic but now I have better than 20/20 vision I am glad I had it done. I just wish it could have cured my longsightedness at the same time then I would never need to wear glasses again!”

“I was slightly skeptical about the whole thing but from start to finish the experience has been amazing. I have a whole new outlook on life (literally) and love not having to wear glasses or worry about wearing sunglasses with prescription.”
