“had been trying for years to have laser surgery with other companys,none of them said it was possible or worth doing,so happy iI walked in to optical express.Would of had this done years ago if I knew it was possible for optical express to carry out this wonderful treatment.”

“I feel very lucky to be able to see properly now without the aid of glasses. I had the surgery twice to gain the best results, it was real value for money. It has given me confidence as I was previously wearing varifocals which caused me to fall down the stairs and injure myself. I am delighted to be able to contiue to pursue my love of art and painting, sculpture and dress making with my new and improved eye sight. Thank you!!”

“From start to finish, the whole process has been extremely straight forward. My only (minor) complaint would be that I was not fully prepared for the discomfort after the surgery. However, it didn't last long!”

“On the whole my laser surgery experience has been good. Would recommend Optical Express. I don't think I properly prepared for the actual surgery and found it a little more disconcerting than I expected. The discomfort in the first 12 hours after the surgery was high. Scratchy eyes that felt tender but within 24 - 48 hours my eyes felt back to normal and vision was good. After care has been great.”

“My eyes have been brilliant and the surgery itself, although a little uncomfortable, did not hurt at all. I would do it again but I think I'd have liked a bit more warning about how bad they could feel after surgery. I felt like I had soap and grit in them for about 7 hours, had I of been prepared for that it wouldn't have been so bad. HOWEVER, I would do it again as it's great to wake in the morning and be able to see without searching for my glasses or having sore eyes from having my overnight contacts in.”

“i had my laser eye surgery on the 18th December, i didnt think it was going to be as quick as it was, i was in and out of the laser room within 10 minutes. Now my vision is great and i am enjoying the longer lie in my bed as i dont need to get up and put my contacts in.”

“I am really happy with my eyesight after surgery last month. I used to wear monthly (keep in) lenses so have not really noticed too much change in my regular routine but I used to HATE wearing glasses. Now I don't have to worry about that anymore.”

“Put at ease on the day by the staff and strangely reassured by the fact that they were all wearing scrubs. Team were amazing - put me at ease as I was slightly nervous about the anaesthetic eye drops as I take a lot of local to feel the effect when I have had it before. Procedure was straight forward and strangely realxing, pain afterwards was worse than expected and I think it would be advisable to tell people to take painkillers ahead of treatment so that they are already taking effect as soon as you are out - I didnt take mone til I got home 30 mins later and then it took 30 mins for them to work so I had a very uncomfortable hour. All said though I would not hesitate to do it all again if I had to ... and would encourage all of my friends and colleagues to do it too!”

“excellent sevice from start to finish. i struggled with contacts and glassess for years which where uncomfortable and gave me headaches.since having treatment i have had a new lease of life in sight and take it as second nature now. should have done years ago and it will pay financially through time.”
