“Wish that I had done this before now. Not having to wear glasses has been great.”

“The first two or three days were ridiciulously uncomfortable, I didn't have any pain, just massive discomfort. I was warned against using the pain killers because they hindered the recovery, so I fought through it using paracetamol and lots of sleep. The second day, I tried to do things that I normally did on a Saturday (watch/play football), but this was a terrible experience, the room was bright, I couldn't focus on the television and I couldn't stop blinking because of the discomfort. After the fourth day, when I had my protective lens taken out, my vision and comfort improve dramatically and from then on I didn't have any issues. I'm really happy with the care, help and advice that has been given to me by the members of staff that I dealt with, if I needed to do it again, I'd do it in a heart beat and I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that asks me.”

“I have been wearing contact lenses and glasses for the last 12 years. Most of the time due to my job nature it was always on the way. So I was not as free as I would like to be now it seems that I am free. Now I can take my daughters swimming, i can go climbing etc.”

“Optical Express staff were competant and re-assuring at all times. All details, reamafications and possible down sides were clearly explained before and after sugery. I would and already have recommended both laser eye surgary and laser eye surgary at Optical express in Bluewater to friends and family and will continue to do so. Very impressed!”

“After being sceptical about laser surgery I was finally convinced to have it done. What a life changing operation(in a good way!). My vision is near perfect after only a few weeks and I'm told it will get even better. Everything from start to finish was very professional, the staff and surgeon were amazing making me feel totally at ease throughout. I would recommend this procedure to anyone without hesitation. Fantastic!”

“I am very happy I have had eye laser surgery. I had a longer than expected lead in time due to dry eyes but once I had it done I have not looked back it is amazing to wake up in the morning and be able to see and not to have to worry about contact lenses or glassess anymore. If you are thinking about having it done and you are able to make sure you do it, the procedure is quick and painless!”

“Althought i was very apprehensive at first before surgery, 4 hrs after surgery i was able to see without pain at all which was soooo amazing. I have received very good care and after care till now from Optical Express”

“I decided upon Laser Eye Surgery after having problems related to contact lens wear. I had problems with chronic dry eye and corneal neovascularisation and did not want to go back to wearing glasses all the time. I decided upon Optical Express after my friend recommended them after having her Laser Eye Surgery. I found them very helpful and professional, the checks they do prior to surgery were very detailed and rechecked the day of the surgery so even the smallest changes were taken into account. The aftercare was also very good with checks at day 1, week 1, month 1 and 3 after surgery. The staff were so helpful and very knowledgable and the helpline were also there in case of any problems out of hours (although I had none it was very reassuring to know it was there!) Would recommend this to everyone - feel it has made such a difference!”
