About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Generally have good service from Outback, but my most recent experience was that a miss pick in the warehouse has seen me still waiting to receive my fire pit. A bit frustrating as I don’t think I will see it before Easter camping….”

“Very happy i have a rooftop tent up on it but wish to fit a kings 270awning but there brackets don't fit it can you advise me as to what I can do the tent comes out to far do I need separate brackets to fit it please look forward to your responce please kind regards ian perry”

“The staff at Acacia Ridge were great to deal with, they allowed me to test fit the diesel tank into the toolbox to make sure it fit prior to purchase. Great service and friendly staff. Loving the new tank”
