About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Ordering process and delivery time was ok but product was not delivered, it was held up at the freight depot due to poor packaging - insufficient tape used and a thin cardboard box. I had to drive out to the freight depot with the caravan hooked up so I could get the cartridge before we set off that same afternoon.”

“Received a product that was faulty. Emailed them and kept getting passed on to someone else before someone tried to say there was nothing wrong with it. Got in touch with the manufacturer and they agreed they were faulty and sent a new set without any issues.”

“I got the water bladder for occasional use, not as a sole, permanent solution. I did the initial flush out, as per the instructions, but the water still has a plastic taste. This doesn't bother me, because the water is used for wash ups, showers etc, but if you were desperate for water to drink, you have it. Mine sits on top of a 40L footwell tank, so together, I can have a bit over 100L right there behind the seat.”

“Could not be happier with the wiring loom for my towing lights. Eaisy to insatall as a replacement for the failing module that was there, this also disabled the rear sensors which was a huge relief.”
