About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“icheck tyre monitors work really well. Changed from another brand after doing the Gibb River Road last year. Our old ones had multiple issues. Friends had icheck with no problems. Easy decision to make the change. Outback Equipment was well priced and quick delivery👍”

“Due to outback equipment sending my boat trailer stone guards to the wrong state I didn’t receive my correct package for approx 6 wks. When i received the wrong package outback equipment also provided a consignment notice for aus post to send it back to them, however ais post does not accept packages of the size required, therefore after several more emails and phone calls an appropriate transporter was organised to send the wrong package back to outback equipment, which would then allow outback equipment to finally send the correct package. The whole ordeal was ridiculous and ill never buy from them again. Due to my package arriving over a month late i now also have some stone chips on my brand new boat because my stone guards arrived so long after they were ordered. What a show. Never again.”

“I bought Burke and Wills canvas reproofing spray from Outback equipment. It was cheaper than anywhere else and arrived within a few days. The packaging was good and the spray went on easily and also smelled really nice too!. I can highly recommend their service and have bought other products from them since because of this.”
