About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I recently bought a set of canvas seat covers for my Amarok and I couldn’t be happier. Kinda blew my away actually! My items arrived way faster than quoted, are heaps better quality than I expected and super easy to fit. Thanks guys, definitely 5 star service, price was amazing for the product quality and I am a very happy, new regular customer!”

“We purchased a redarc dcdc 1250d for our coffee van that was having charging issues, wow what a difference, we’ve gone from only just getting through our day (400ah lithium) to still having 50% plus left in the batteries and voltage not going below 13.3volts. We have high draw items like a coffee grinder, puq press and commercial blender that are used all morning. Great product and service from outback equipment.”

“Ordered a yellow lanolin brand manual pressure spray which arrived broken. Was informed that this was referred back to the manufacturer for replacement. It is over a month later and haven’t heard a thing. DO NOT BUY A LANOLIN brand manual pump sprayer!!!”

“Outback sent the driving lights (Kings 9in) as expected and the lights arrived in ok timelines - a bit slow. But within a week of fitting (over roof rack) the lights started taking on water almost straight away with fogged lenses - in one its actually dripping down the inside. I approached Outback and sent photo's via their online claims facility and that's where things bogged down. Been 2 weeks without responce (other than an auto reply), I've called, requested call back and emailed - no reply. I'll keep you posted but I'm starting to think these guys are not going to do anything.”

“We were chasing a new Thetford 3way fridge for our caravan, obtained prices from Thetford & then from Outback equipment & there price was far better & they had it in stock in Brisbane, we did the deal & for extra $60 it was delivered to caravan repair shop on Sunshine Coast, 3 days from 1st contact to delivered fridge. Brilliant service 100% recommend Outback Equipment”

“Ordering process and delivery time was ok but product was not delivered, it was held up at the freight depot due to poor packaging - insufficient tape used and a thin cardboard box. I had to drive out to the freight depot with the caravan hooked up so I could get the cartridge before we set off that same afternoon.”
