About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

I ordered and paid for light fittings on the 4th Jan, 2022 (#N450540) I have phoned twice but have not had any updates on when the order will arrive. I appreciate that transport has become difficult with Covid however Australia Post could do better than this.

I ordered 3 items on 8th Jan, 2 items arrived within 2-3 weeks, however the 3rd item (a directors chair) hasnt arrived. Twice I have chased up and been told 'oh, the supplier has no stock' and twice been promised a follow up and a call back and i still have not recieved an update. Cost was over $110 and no one seems too interested in advsing when i am going to recieve the item i have paid in full for. My frustration here is at the lack of assistance and the last call after i mentioned i was 'still waiting' for the original call back, said i would definietly be called back...... still waiting and not a happy camper at this point!

Very poor customer service. Placed order 24 Th Dec. Got one item on 10 Th Feb. Three items still to come. Emailed to ask what was going on. Almost a week gone and no reply yet. Still waiting!

Tracking no incorrect, followed up many times but no response. Finally a follow up with new parcel sent. Arrived ok

The items I ordered have still not arrived despite requesting feedback twice I gather that they are still e route but neither Aramex or Outback Equipment will confirm this to me Five weeks seems a long time

Brought a hot water system and they forgot the outer door, still waiting for it nearly two months on..... Will be a phone call to management next.

Ordered a set of seat covers. Wrong (cheaper) set arrives. Returned and money refunded. Reordered and correct set arrives. No instructions. Still trying to work out if I have to take the whole seat out. The back seat has a zipper to allow the seat belt to fit through. When you do it up the zipper breaks apart and can’t be done up again. Not happy. Where do I go from here?

Ordered a caravan grab handle light in late November and it arrived just before the end of the year. Too late to install before holidays. Quality is good , price is reasonable but the delay in arriving has made me reluctant to order any more items.

BTA TOWBAR DOESN'T fit Subaru liberty very well. Puts bumps in rear bar. Doug

Shipping took more than 4 weeks even though I ordered in early November. I had to call up 3 different times for it to be "lost" then 2 days later it shows up. The shipping company (aramax) is terrible and it cost $13. Other than the shipping everything else is good.

Initial service was good, Still haven’t received my goods, which were meant to take about 10 days, I have now been waiting for about a month. Very poor communication.
