About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“The item was excellent but getting it was exceedingly arduous. Beware if you order online. They use Aramax who are impossible to contact either via phone or email and the whole redelivery process was virtually impossible. Total pot luck. Most couriers leave the parcels at Australia Post if no one is home but not Aramax. I will not be ordering online with you again for that reason. Really bad courier service.”

“The motor operates fine. However Outback Equipments performance was far from satisfactory. The delivery of the part took excessive time to arrive and when I contacted Outback Equipment they did not want to know, just said out of our hands. They organised the freight company and should follow up with them if delivery is delayed. The freight company they use is extremely difficult to contact and really weren't interested in improving the situation. I will not be using Outback again due to the poor performance.”
