About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“Recent order would allow click and collect (obviously products weren’t in stock and had to be obtained from suppliers) but order took over 2 weeks to arrive which is too long”

“Product arrived promptly, well packaged and in tact. Screen fit our awning perfectly and had tie downs and pegs as promised. The screen provides privacy, sun protection amd boosts the strength of the awning in wind. We needed to insert the sail track cord ourselves which was a little tricky but quite doable with two people. Very happy with the product for the price.”

“Great people to speak too. Easy to order cgear mat online. Excellent quality. I am still giving 5 stars even though we did receive wrong size mat. After couple of phone calls and emails, correct mat was sent out. Staff were very helpful and apologised for mistake in shipping. I would still order other products if needed.”

“Once we got over the mix-up with the extra item in my order. The delivery was very prompt. The item that I ordered was exactly what I needed. And I am very happy.. but I have been on the website to check out more stuff to buy and honestly it's like pulling teeth. But I will try again to see what else I can buy .”
