About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“If you write something bad it doesn't go through. So I had the most amazing experience of being delivered the wrong UHF radios and having to pay blokes who didn't know where they were or what they were doing. For 2 weeks. Because that's how long it takes to send a wrong item back and get a replacement if you live 85km from town. Great job guys!”

“Tow bar wouldn't fit vehicle & you sent enquiry to manufacturer but 2 weeks on have not heard anything If you are unable to provide a tow bar to fit that I have paid for then I would like a refund so I can purchase a suitable one from another retailer”

“Placed an order of 5 items on the 6th, didn't get any feed back thinking they would be delivered in a few days. Sent an email on the 8th inquiring about my order and was told some things on back order and would arive on 16th. Heard nothing by the 19th so sent another email, no reply by 20th so I called to find out what was happening. Was told some items would not be in stock till the end of the month.”
