About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“very very slow deliver. 3 weeks from order to arrival of product. Had to chase it up a couple of times.”

“Unreal support and communication with the main office. Ordered a new UHF and hadn’t revived it yet. Double checked with the company and they sent back a really helpful email detailing where my order was Can’t wait to make more purchases with this company”

“Whilst happy with the product I received I was disappointed that what appeared to be "in stock" was actually not and had to first be ordered from your supplier. Took longer to receive than expected.”

“I bought a Topargee water gauge. One of the best bits of equipment I have bought. It measures water usage very accurately. Much better than the gauge installed in my van. Very happy.”
