About Outback Equipment:

Outback Equipment was born from a couple of mates with a big idea and an even bigger love for the outdoors. What started in the back of a garage quickly moved to a warehouse corner and now, over 10 years later, we’re running our own full-scale warehouse and showroom storefront in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

We kicked off with a fascination for light bars, but it didn’t take long to realise there was a lot more gear to get excited about. Outback Equipment has since grown into one of the largest online ranges of 4x4, camping, marine, and caravanning accessories in Australia. Driven by our customers’ passion for exploring the great outdoors, we’ve expanded our space, our range, and our mission.

Whether you're planning a weekend beach trip or the big lap around Oz, getting prepped can feel like a mission. We're here to make it simple. From expert guides and part finders to trusted advice and helpful customer service, we’re your starting point for any off-grid adventure.

We only stock gear we’d use ourselves. From brands like Aussie Traveller, MSA, CampBoss, BLA, Hardkorr, Superior Engineering, Tuff Terrain and Outback Explorer. With over 250 brands on our shelves and growing, we’re proud to support fellow adventurers at every stage of their journey.

“I did have a slight problem with my order being out of stock, received an email stating it could be a while, it had already been about 10 days by then. I replied saying it was needed fairly urgently and I thought giving myself about 3 weeks to get it delivered would have been enough.. well not sure where they got one from but it was literally delivered the next day .. very happy with that.”

“Outback Equipment Service Centre is very good and efficient but a small suggestion of adding advice that it is Courier delivery service not Australian Post to help with delivery address as a lot of your customers would be like me “Permanent Travellers” with no home base. Thanks again for all the help”

“I recently purchased 4 items on 2 seperate purchases. I paid for these items and then it was a month between payment and recieving my items. Turns out they didn't actually have anything in stock that I had ordered. The support was not as quick as I would have hoped for.”
