The top-right gauge shows 52% positive (recommend) reviews, but scrolling down the comments shows mostly one message: Just another scam!”
“Worse warranty company. Only does claim via emails. Vehicle been in the shop so far week and half and I’ve been without a car and still have no update on approval claim which is for crack radiator and ball joints. They don’t communicate with the customer or shop. Every I call they tell me it’s in review. STAY AWAY from them”

“Been harassed by a peon $12 an hour rep from this company by the name of "Matt", He called obsessively after being hung on over 8 times! When I called back to complain, they refused to let me speak with a supervisor and I was hung up on. When I called back, an unknown black woman answered and refused to give me her name and then disconnected the call. I am suing these people for violations of the TCPA and DO NOT USE THEM! LAWSUIT FILED IN THE 3RD PRECINCT PLACE 1, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS FOR $10,500.00 AS OF YESTERDAY. THESE PEOPLE ARE SCUM BAGS!”
“I have been trying to get my vehicle fixed for over a week. It is a covered repair by ox. It is a one hour repair. They still haven’t okayed the repair. I have called and emailed them. With no response.”
“This company takes your money monthly but doesn’t pay claims. My claim for a covered part was immediately denied and was later discovered that it should not have been but only after I picked my car up and called to cancel the policy. I car care then denied it again because and I quote” continues to drive”. What did they expect me to do leave my car at the shop after they denied the claim. They are thieves and I have hired an attorney to get all the money I paid on the policy returned to me.”

“I had to pay out of pocket for tow truck. ox car care never helped with my oil change. when i cancel their service for one of my car they still took money out of my account. so i called back to re-cancel, and the manager i spoke to was very rude and disrespecful when i ask for his name he rudly said if you were listening you wound know my name, and he refuse to give me his name so i can make a complaint”
“I came in looking at cars and I was just looking but I met a salesman named Anthony Metchant and he was so professional and when I decide to buy a car he is my guy. He had so much knowledge about what he is doing and he took his time with me and I really liked that. “June 7, 2024. I called my vehicle today and spoke to an very nice gentleman who offered me a number of discounts in order to purchase today. I told him I needed to talk to the people that service my car and I also wanted to talk to my wife. They offered to take my deposit by phone and refunded anytime. I got home and I googled top 10 car insurance firms they weren't listed. I did a search on OXCARE automobile repair insurance.
I was very disappointed to see the number of negative reviews. I was also disappointed to hear how they treat people's cars were in for service. Many people don't review forms online I understand why I always do reviews. After doing my review and due diligence I want to thank everybody who wrote a review because I will not be using Oxcare. If they do not do a good job for others; if they do not have good customer service; if they lighted people; why would I think treat me differently. They wouldn't. “I just purchased a 2020 Duramax with 120 k miles on it. After driving it 10 k miles the head gasket is leaking. Even though the complete drivetrain is included in my warranty, they’re saying it’s just a gasket.. just a gasket? It is part of the drivetrain . But they say gaskets are only covered up to 100 k miles. When I bought the warranty 8 months. Ago they knew it had 120 k miles on it and told me all drivetrain was covered. So now they’re telling me lies that it’s not covered. I would never buy a warranty from Ox ever again.”
“Dont buy. It will end up costing you more money in storage fees. Alternator issue is covered and it has been sitting in pending approval for 2 weeks. They say 3-5 business days for claims and mine has been going on 2 weeks. It has cost me $25 a day in storage fee. Claim department plays the waiting game and will just let you wait with no update at all. Customer service cant help either so you are stuck with pending approval for a long long time. Sales department should hate this claim department is they are costing sales new customers. Stay away from this company.”
