“Save your time and money Ox Car Care is awful. They will tell you all good things when purchasing a warranty but when it comes time to get work done they will not answer the phone they will email you and say they need history on the car repairs. When you purchase a vehicle all you get is a car Fax not history on how many times. It was serviced and for what... Do not buy from this company you will be SORRY”
“With a limited warranty service from OX Car Care you can bet that you claim will be denied. The company has a very simple contract and their Claims Adjusters will make sure to find one thing that they can deny the claim for while having you jump through hoops to get them information. Their customer support lacks any professionalism and their staff does not know what customer service is.”
“Potential customers, please look at the endless 1-star reviews. Following those are lots of 5-star reviews that appear blatantly false. Each one contains a single sentence, using “actual customer names,” and are NOT representative of the manner in which actual reviews are written. Decide for yourself but don’t be deceived. Beware. Don’t give your money away.”
“This company needs to be stop I have paid over 600$ to be denied of a claim that fits in the warranty guidelines. They are rude and very unprofessional at this point it will cost me more money to hire a lawyer I'm just so disgusted with this company. I RECOMMEND STAYING AWAY FROM OX CARE WARRANTY”
“Boy I'm sure glad I read the true reviews Tou go over to page 3 and you see all 5 star reviews saying the exact same thing that's on the commercials I've always been told anything from California and New York are scammers and after reading the real reviews I think I'll stay as far away as I can get from these scammers from California”
“The MF worst warranty ever OXCARCAE!!!!!! My husband purchased this warranty in October 2022 on my Mercedes Benz. The car was total and we transfer the warranty over to my 2017 Nissan Altima that I purchase in February 2023. The wheel bearing went out on my car in July 2023. They found every reason in the world not to approve for me to get my car fixed. First the mileage was wrong then they needed proof of all maintenance done to the car. I went back-and-forth with them. Got everything they needed for them to tell me I needed to call each service place the car went to as well as previous owners, ask what was done to it and what was denied what was fixed when it was all put on the Carfax ,also the sheet I provided from the dealership where I purchased the car. These people are a fraud they’re taking people money and they’re never going to fix your car. Their attitude and customer service is beyond disrespectful to the customers even the supervisor by the name of Kevin was the worse. I asked for his supervisor and he said I don’t have one. I would never ever recommend ox car care to anyone. These people don’t care anything about the customer. I just wished I could have found out sooner then later. All of them will be dealt with because GODS eyes are not closed. The way they treat people and taking our hard earned money and not doing there job is sickening.”
“I purchased a warranty on 4/26/23. My first payment was taken on 5/10/23. In the meanwhile, I reviewed the material and decided to cancel. I called in mid-may, well within the 30 day money back timeframe and cancelled the warranty. I was told that it was cancelled and that I would receive a refund of my payment in 3-6 weeks. On June 12th, my account was charged AGAIN and overdrew my account!! I called and was told that there was no record of my cancellation call and that he would cancel it then and refund BOTH payments (one that was not authorized), which would take 3-6 weeks (LONGER NOW). I called on 6/30 to check the status of my refund, since I am on a fixed income as a retiree and losing this money is causing a hardship. I was NOW TOLD THAT MY CANCELLATION WAS TOO LATE FOR MY FIRST PAYMENT TO BE REFUNDED, WHICH IS NOT TRUE AND THAT I NEEDED TO WRITE A LETTER TO THEM, OFFICIALLY CANCELLING THE WARRANTY (AGAIN) AND PROVIDING MY ODOMETER READING. THEN THEY WOULD CONSIDER A PROTATED REFUND OF THE PAYMENT THEY TOOK IN JUNE WHICH WAS NOT AUTHORIZED. I TRULY EXPECT TO NOT SEE A PENNY FROM THEM. THE REP WAS RUDE AND BASICALLY CALLED ME A LIAR WHEN I SAID THAT MY FIRST CALL WAS WITHIN THE 30 GRACE PERIOD. NOW, AS A PERSON WITH LIMITED INCOME, I HAVE LOST $370+, NOT INCLUDING THE OVERDRAFT THEY CAUSED ON MY ACCOUNT. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE MAJOR SCAM ARTISTS AND PREYED ON AN OLD WOMAN.”
“We own an auto repair facility and will be advising all our customers not to do business with OxCarCare. Our customer had the highest level of car protection and needed new sway bar links. We filed a claim, then spent several hours trying to speak with someone on the phone. When we finally did reach someone, Kelvin told us it is under review and we'd hear back in 24-72 hours. After 96ish hours of hearing nothing, WE reached back out to claims only to find out that the covered repair would be denied, as the customer drove the car. How long does a person have to wait for approval? In order to get approval, the timeframe 24-72 was not accurate. In this case, a client has to wait 6 days in order to hear if their car is covered or not. Not to mention, us (the repair facility) and the client had to make the numerous calls to get an answer. The front suspension components being worn (not broken) is not going to cause any further damage. As a repair facility, we deal with numerous warranty companies. OxCarCare is terrible and an absolute scam. They take people’s money and make it virtually impossible to make a claim, get a claim covered, speak with a representative, etc. The idea behind this company is to make it extremely hard to get coverage so that the client just gives up and OxCarCare pockets their money. We will make it our mission to tell everyone to never consider OxcarCare. OxCarCare is by far the worst warranty company we have ever dealt with. It is a shame what you are doing to people.”
“I pray everyone reads the reviews on this company before giving your money to them! They are the absolute worst company in business, period. They lied about getting the vehicle serviced and the most they will pay out is $60! It’s very unprofessional when you call to get answers about anything with them This company is a TOTAL SCAM!!!”
“Fraudulent company. Does not responded to submitted claims for over 3 weeks. Then demoes claims without being able to articulate why. Does not have managers available. Targets vulnerable populations like woman and older adults.”
