“June 7, 2024. I called my vehicle today and spoke to an very nice gentleman who offered me a number of discounts in order to purchase today. I told him I needed to talk to the people that service my car and I also wanted to talk to my wife. They offered to take my deposit by phone and refunded anytime. I got home and I googled top 10 car insurance firms they weren't listed. I did a search on OXCARE automobile repair insurance.
I was very disappointed to see the number of negative reviews. I was also disappointed to hear how they treat people's cars were in for service. Many people don't review forms online I understand why I always do reviews. After doing my review and due diligence I want to thank everybody who wrote a review because I will not be using Oxcare. If they do not do a good job for others; if they do not have good customer service; if they lighted people; why would I think treat me differently. They wouldn't. Have a great June and avoid scammers. Thanks again to everybody who did a review saved me multiple thousands of dollars over a two-year period. Rob”
“I just purchased a 2020 Duramax with 120 k miles on it. After driving it 10 k miles the head gasket is leaking. Even though the complete drivetrain is included in my warranty, they’re saying it’s just a gasket.. just a gasket? It is part of the drivetrain . But they say gaskets are only covered up to 100 k miles. When I bought the warranty 8 months. Ago they knew it had 120 k miles on it and told me all drivetrain was covered. So now they’re telling me lies that it’s not covered. I would never buy a warranty from Ox ever again.”
“Dont buy. It will end up costing you more money in storage fees. Alternator issue is covered and it has been sitting in pending approval for 2 weeks. They say 3-5 business days for claims and mine has been going on 2 weeks. It has cost me $25 a day in storage fee. Claim department plays the waiting game and will just let you wait with no update at all. Customer service cant help either so you are stuck with pending approval for a long long time. Sales department should hate this claim department is they are costing sales new customers. Stay away from this company.”
“Started to ask why I wouldnt buy on the spot? Told him im waiting for AAA quote. Kept asking why didnt they call me yet? Why do you think they didnt call? Told him he was pushy and rude. He then told me i wasnt going to but it anyway. Stay far away from these people.”
“OX care customer service sucks. The customer service person lied I got the wrong number. And the people I was calling was NOT ox care. The overdrafted my account because the customer service person lied. I tried calling to cancel my care and no one ever answered. When I tried to call back they were close. I talked to another guy and he lied and said he would send it over. The next thing I know the have drafted my account and I never got to talk to someone about cancelling my card. The automated system kept me on hold for 15 minutes and again did not talk to anyone. The whole company have a bunch of liars and who ever has a policy with them is crazy. They are a bunch of liars that desperately need customers. I don't want this company to do anything for me and I am very sorry that I dialed the wrong number because I am now $75.00 less on my account.”
“Ox is a total scam. I purchased my warranty 8 months ago and attempted to use it for the 1st time. It took them 3 weeks to approve 1 part of my claim and they didn't approve the total amount. They say that you only pay $100 deductible that's not true. I need a motor mount that cost $292 and they are only paying $75. So I will have to pay the $100 deductible plus the balance $217. So why do I need them if they do not honor what they say. I need all my money back that I have paid to this company. A total SCAM!!! People RUN don't walk away from this company. I should have read the reviews before I purchased the service. I need a refund of $1,352 that's what I have paid this company. It should be a class action lawsuit against this company.”
“Worst company I have dealt with. If your car breaks down, look forward to your car not being worked on for at least a week while they get an inspector to come look at it. After which he will find a way to say the problem was pre-existing and your stuck with a bill. Steer clear of this one. “Called wanting information in March 2024 and was told I can sign up for $70 that day.. Being I was at work my wallet was in my purse and I’m with a patient and gave my cash app information telling them there was only $20 on it.. he said he’d take $10 but thought I wasn’t going to get a notification that he tried taking the whole $70 STILL? Anyway he said $10 would be fine and he will later email me paperwork to sign plus they would need my license and registration copies thru email, Which I never got too due to a tragic loss of family which I was stuck paying funeral costs. Sooo 2 months just went by and I just got a akward call from a local number by a dude who sounded straight from the streets claiming when ima pay my Oxcare account because I’m several payments behind? How is that?? When I explained I never signed any contract nor paid a full sign up agreement and I’ll contact them later because I’m working with my patient this SUNDAY MORNING, He totally clicked in the middle of me talking? I’m like huh? I’m glad I didn’t go any further with this unprofessional person and Company. My advice Don’t do it

“How are they not locked up for theft. They take the money every month , once I put a claim in the BS. They wanna use junk yard parts and make me responsible for a portion of the labor. STAY AWAY FAR AWAY”
“I recently signed up with this company, I created an account with one vehicle, then I was told I can provide another vehicle that for a better benefit, therefore I do so. When it was time for my automatic payment to occur, the payment was successful, the next three days another payment occurred on my account, I contact the company and they admitted the second payment was in error, the representative was going to call me back to fix the issue, as the day went by, I received no call. I had to call numerous of time to get the issue ratified, the company representatives where so rude, as they were switching me around to multiples reps, I was beginning to remember their names and even got hung up on twice, I was told that the supervisor said I was not entire to a refund. Finally another rep funded me half of my payment within the same day and stated there was a admin fee , that was nonrefundable on the other half, The contract was canceled before 30 days of the sale, the radio advertisement states, you will receive a return, also it states that on my contract of sale, right now I am pursuing to receive my funds back in returned. I am disappointed with the non-transparency of customer service staff. Hopefully this investigation gets resumed within this matter and appropriate action to be taken to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.”
“They will lie to you just to get you to sign up. They told me that I would get my money back if I cancel within 30 days. Then when another person read the terms back to me they said it was non refundable fee. So I immediately said I need to cancel because I’m thinking if you’re lying to me now how will you treat me later. Then they said I should not cancel that I should just try the plan for a month and pay the 1st month $169 and then cancel. ……They’re very misleading. Now I see why she was insisting I join now and stated I could cancel later. She wouldn’t let me research their company because I had never heard of them before. I had just heard them on the radio and from the beginning I told them I was just researching and curious about their information. They begged me to join saying I could cancel anytime before 30 days she didn’t tell me that I would not get my money back if I canceled before 30 days. I had even asked her that if I cancel would I get my fee back she misled me by telling me I could cancel anytime. Now I see why I had never heard of them. I’m glad they didn’t fool me longer than 1 day if you lie about 1 thing you can lie about anything. One person say I get refund then another say it’s non refundable. So that why nobody should trust you. I saw your true colors.”
“This company is the biggest scam. We have left our truck at the shop for over two weeks, because if you don't they will automatically deny your claim and say you shouldn't have driven the truck no one from our company has been out to expect it, but yet when you call and try to talk to someone they tell you that it all has to be handled by email. So, our mechanic shop has emailed them many times, trying to get someone to come out and inspect the truck in order to get the repairs done. Nope they won't send anyone, so we can't get the repairs done unless we want to pay the $4,000 or it's denied but yet they won't send anyone out from their company to look at the truck. Mind you this is the second time we have had our truck has been in and they didn't cover any of the first repair ,but yet they take your money every month. This company is nothing but a big scam and should not be allowed to stay in business. Every review you read on google it's clients getting scammed.”
