The package arrived in a timely manner (UK to Ohio USA) and in a great rate, so I should give it 5 stars. The problem for me was I read many negative reviews about the company, and it brought back memories of another courier service that claimed my package was in transit (and it turned out the serial numbered item showed up on ebay while they were claiming it was in their possession), anyway I might use parcel2go again. My complaint is that they do not update their tracking info --so it was never updated from pickup scheduled. to picked up, much less that it had been delivered. As it was going to my other house -(Fedex overrode the general delivery) it sat out for 4 days --my complaints are about the lack of tracking info.

Don't book “Delivery Guarantee” – it's counterproductive! I used Parcel2Go and paid extra for “Delivery Guarantee.” Parcelforce didn't collect the parcel on the date agreed. As a consequence, the parcel wasn't delivered on the day it was expected. When I wanted to claim the refund*, I was told: “The delivery guarantee does not guarantee the collection date just the delivery time once the parcel has been collected.” This means Parcel2Go and their partners have an incentive not to collect your parcel at all when they have the slightest doubt they can deliver it in the time agreed — which in turn means you're better off without the guarantee! * “If you purchase Delivery Guarantee, you will be entitled to a full refund of the carriage if your parcel is not delivered by the pre-agreed date.”

The service itself is good and prices generally very competitive BUT after Hermes lost a parcel I sent (large and heavy....impossible to lose you would think!!) I found the claims/complaints process via P2G a pain and the support/outcome less than satisfactory. At one point I had to contact Hermes myself to get things moving! Now looking for an alternative service for the regular sending of parcels.

After reading all the bad reviews about parcel2go, I was very hesitant to use this service. However, since the parcel I wanted to send to Hong Kong was not urgent I thought I would give it a try. From pick-up to delivery in Hong Kong, it took just less than 2 weeks. So overall, I am pleased with the service. Many reviews mentioned that the tracking service was not up-to-date, so when I saw the parcel had arrived at the destination country, I was a little skeptical. The status was 'Item processed' for several days and was expecting it to change to 'Ready for delivery'. That was when I had doubts about the tracker. Got a call yesterday from my family in Hong Kong saying they received the parcel. I guess the 'Item processed' status was not updated due to the Chinese New Year holiday period. Anyway, I hope this is not a one-off and that I can expect to get the same level of service should I use this courier in the future.

I booked a simple parcel with Parcels2go and they failed to collect 3 times. I hence highlighted the fact and in the end they refunded the majority of the cost back to me.
