The worst experience I have ever had My Hermes through parcel2go more lost and stolen parcels in one week than 10 years with Royal Mail FOR THE LOVE OF GOD STAY AWAY!!!!

I sent 1 parcel that contained two boxes with a full roll of tape wrapped around then, only 1 part of the parcel arrived at the customers address. the other part was cut off and has gone missing and guess what? its got the most expensive part of the item in it at £130 parce2go just keep apologising and pretend that they are making enquiries but they dont. all the do is tell you to put a claim in . but when you dont have full cover because of the price it means you are out of pocket by £100. does p2go employ thieves and robbers because this is a deliberate crime,its NOT a lost parcel its a stolen parcel. never send parcels through these people. big mistake if you do

Item went missing - expensive painting. Unable to claim as they ignored our claim. Poor communication - no telephone contact, no accountability on their part. Not recommended

Parcel2go are absolutely shocking, claiming attempted delivery when no one attempted a delivery when I waited in all day, asked via live chat if they could record this on record as there was no attempt to deliver my parcel they told me no they can’t do that and when I wanted to raise a complaint they brushed it off with that they don’t have a complaints procedure, very unprofessional and rude company do not use.

The worst parcel delivery portal on the web. Don't bother thinking that their £20 insurance is worth anything. They ask you to provide proof of non-delivery. My parcel (trousers worth £250) was scanned into the London Yodel depot and not scanned out again. Parceltogo knew this and still demanded proof of non-delivery. They have the proof. They also demand proof of value. The parcel I sent belonged to a third party who had sent it to me by mistake. I did not have proof of value and could not obtain it. You cannot call to complain, and some of the live chat people are really unhelpful. I'll never use this company again,

I sent a tyre via Parcel2go. As it's not easy to damaged or lose a tyre I declined the additional fee to insure the cost of the package. However, it was then delivered in error to the wrong address. A very long and frustrating claims process then ensued. The good things is that they can be contacted relatively easily via online chat. However, finding and email or a telephone number for these guys when online chat just isn't doing the job, is in my experience, impossible. After speaking with the operator, I was told they would be in touch within two days, once they had spoken to the courier. After a week, I was yet to receive a response. I went through the same process again. Again a week later and they hadn't responded. At this point, the parcel should have been delivers weeks ago and I was given the opportunity to make a claim for the cost of postage. After providing proof of non-delivery and the value of the item, this was subsequently refused within out explanation or recourse. Finally, I contacted Parcel2Go on social media. Their response in this instance was as rapid as any company I'd ever dealt with, as was their resolution that went beyond what was required of them as that not only refunded the cost of postage but the full value of the item! I remind you, this was despite the fact that I did not choose this level of cover. On reflection; Do I regret using Parcel2go? Yes. Mistakes happen but the system in place for enquiries isn't good enough. Would I recommend them or use them again? Unlikely, for the same reason. Am I happy with the end result? Yes. They went well beyond what was required of them to produce a fair resolution, however I had to work pretty hard for it!

I have sent a parcel about a month ago. Parcel2go overcharged me with almost £80 saying the dimensions and weights were wrong. The receiver has confirmed the dimensions and weights of the packages. I have sent several email to parcel2go claims with pictures, supplier dimensions and weighs, ebay indications of the package, but still they have not removed the overcharge. How can someone lift a box by himself with 34kgs? they are saying it has 24kgs more??? The package was checked with the same electronic scale I sent other packages which were correct??? Totally false overcharge. Trying to get money through the back door and not admitting that the overcharge claim is false. Not using again and I recomend to others not to use it also and this can happen to anyone using their service.

Hi, I’m sorry to hear about your frustration with this extra charge. Unfortunately, these charges are beyond our control. Because our couriers carry hundreds of thousands of parcels a day, there’s a very slim margin for error when it comes to declared parcel sizes. Couriers issue surcharges for under-declared parcels in order to compensate for the extra time it takes to process them. To avoid these charges in future, we’d advise rounding up your parcel measurements when declaring the size and weight. This should compensate for discrepancies between your measurement and the courier’s. The issue here is that the dimensions for the parcel are incorrect and this has caused the issue with the payment. We have asked you to send over further documents to an email address for us to discuss this further. If you can do this, then we can look into the matter further. I have spent hours trying to contact this company by telephone. They have numerous contact numbers but none of them ever get answered. On one occasion I was on hold for over 1 hour, probably at a premium rate. This is the most disgusting con company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. Trading Standards will be getting a call but they are probably already aware of their dodgy and disgusting way of treating their customers. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THEM!

The reason that we don’t currently have a phone number for customer services is that in order to offer the cheapest parcel delivery prices possible, we need to cut down costs elsewhere. However, you can still contact us via our Live Help facility on our website. Our Live Help system is designed to speed up the process of resolving any problems our customers might have when compared with a standard phone line service. It also helps keep costs down to ensure our customers are always getting the lowest possible prices on their deliveries. Please be aware that there are a handful of fraudulent numbers being shared online that are claimed to be the number for our customer services department. Please do not call these numbers, as you’ll be put on hold and charged for your time on the line. We do not currently have an inbound telephone number, so any you find online are fraudulent. Like everyone else on here this company is the worst, been trying to make a claim for over 4 weeks, their website does not update, their chatline employees know nothing, Hermes have lost the parcel, as per their tracking service, and I am being asked to send documentation to support my claim! 3 times I have sent it by email, I dont get any response to confirm they have received it, and when I GO BACK ON CHATLINE, i am told to check back next!! Just want to know how to get the insurance claim sorted, obviously they have no intention of paying!!

After my initial poor review, it transpired that the item had indeed been stolen - but by a member of the public, some average JO who saw the Christmas wrapping and took a gamble. Sadly for him, it was classic car parts, worth nothing to 99.9% of the population. Eventually the issue her was well handled, and the full item value is to be returned as a result of the theft.

Just had a really poor experience with parcel2Go. Dropped off a parcel to my local collection point here in Edinburgh last Wednesday evening with an expected delivery date to London of Friday 25th November. After a week of trying to track the parcel and using the P2G Livechat the parcel was still not delivered. This was a wedding gift for a nephew of mine and it transpires that the parcel was never collected from the pickup point by the courier. Trying to get anything other text book answers from Livechat is a complete waste of time. I've now had to go back to the collection point and take the parcel from them so I can take it to the wedding with me. Trying to speak to this company is non existent, not even a customer email address is available. I'm going to Pursue this out of a matter of principle as all they caused me was grief, anxiety and worry. Two things that they are really good at is taking your money and avoiding any contact with the customer. Take my word for it DONT USE THIS FIRM. USE ROYAL MAIL INSTEAD.

I left my house and saw a delivery man from Parcel2Go trying the locked gate to a house some 50 yards away. Thought nothing of it till that evening when the tenant called round to deliver my parcel. He said had been thrown into his locked garden. The delivery man had never bothered to locate my house and as he had reached the postcode seemed happy to "deliver" it to the nearest post code house. No complaints procedure so I have complained to the seller who has passed it on. What a shambolic company. DO NOT USE BY CHOICE

Used parcel2go to send parcel. Was collected by UPS and got lost. No phone number to resolve problem so took 3 weeks emailing to discover and confirm that item is lost and location unknown. Every single time after contacting parcel2go was promised to Obviously awaiting side is unhappy as couldnt provide answer where is item. Now trying to claim money for lost parcel and it's a night mare. So many rules created to avoid compensation. First of them, make sure person who collects items gonna provide You with Proof of Collection. Second to claim Your money back You'll need Proof of non-delivery, when so simple to check tracking number and it's shows item was collected but not delivered. And finally Proof of value. All these conversations by emails and online chat - forget phone.

This is one of the worst customer service I ever had to deal with. Never want to resolve any intern problem or any other issues properly... Don't even expect to get your money back if your parcel has been damaged or missing they will ask you everything impossible and find a reason not to fulfil their obligations.

Don’t waste your money and time. Plenty of decent couriers available out there. Don’t be next disappoint customer. They lost my parcel, contact with them is only by live chat. Worst experience ever.
