Absolute Garbage The worst company I have ever had the horror of doing a transaction with. I paid £200 for a parcel to be delivered to St Lucia with express delivery. The Courier didn’t arrive on the day arranged and I was guaranteed that the courier would arrive the following day and they still didn’t know. No one hot back to me regarding compensation for the fact that the parcel would inevitably arrive late, although I paid for next day delivery. Although the collection was booked for a bank holiday, I was guaranteed by parcel compare that the courier would arrive. However they did not I spoke to them via their live chat function, and their customer service representatives were the most unhelpful I have ever come across in the balance of my life. They told me there was no guaranteed date for collections. It is just a gauge to go by. How can there be no guaranteed collection date, but a guaranteed delivery date? After the courier hadn’t arrived for two days, I made contact with FedEx myself, and they were unable to help book for a courier collection and suggested that I take the parcel to a FedEx drop-off point, which I did. I was incredibly frustrated as I had paid for a collection and somebody had been waiting indoors for two days. When I took the parcel to the FedEx drop off, the barcode was not recognised although scanned five times. This company operate daylight robbery, and I am so disappointed that I did not read the reviews before carrying out the transaction. I’m going to attach a few photos and it might seem a bit much, but honestly, the level of ridiculousness within the conversation with their customer service team is honestly mind boggling.

I was charged £11.78 for a delivery for an item I was returning that cost me £80 to purchase. Then without any notice they took another £78…. From my account. I did get an email with another invoice but no proper explanation so to return an £80 product cost me over £90 to return. They keep saying about it being over 300cms Wow I think not. I sent them the measurements but they want a picture with a tape measure against it. Well who takes that? If the light weight airer was over 3 meters that is some airer.

Trust me don’t use this company Awful company, please don’t trust them that what they first charge you will be all they charge you. They took moor money out of my account (a lot at that? My parcel weighed 6kg but was tall as it was an electric airer, I returned it and it’s now cost just over £90 to return it with the extra they just helped themselves to out of my account.) The pick up driver commented on how light it was. They can do daylight robbery and get away with it

I recently booked a parcel delivery with parcelcompare.com who were recommended by the retailer I was returning an item to. It was collected and delivered as expected at the start of March, and I assumed that was the end of my dealings with them. 2 weeks later and parcelcompare have deducted additional fees from my bank account without any communication or attempt to contact me. I received an email invoice after the money had been debited earlier in the day. It’s not clear from the invoice what the additional payment is for. The size/ dimensions and weight of the item were inputted accurately into their website when the quote was generated, and there should be no additional cost. I contacted my bank and have been told that a subscription has been set up on my account which allows parcelcompare to take money whenever they want to, and to an unspecified value. They provide no contact number (or email) on their website. I opened a chat online and was advised that all communication is managed via their helpdesk and live chat facility. I have a feeling she was a bot. I was very quickly told that they couldn’t help me and my query would be referred on, before closing the chat. Despite asking them (via chat) to terminate my account and apparent subscription, I am concerned that they simply won’t respond. I’ve since read several negative reviews of a similar nature and it would seem that using a customer’s details in this way is commonplace, as is ignoring any attempt at communication. They owe me a refund from a previous cancelled order. Funny how they can take my money so quickly but are slow to reimburse! Please be careful when using parcelcompare and contact your bank straight away if you see any strange deductions from your account.

As many have noted, it seems common practice for this company to demand extra payment (or even extract payment from your bank account), long after delivery was completed and without providing any evidence to support their claim. AVOID!!

DO NOT USE ParcelCompare. When you google you might see this at first because this company sounds and behaves fishy. Go for another options- AWARNESS REVIEW, if gets approved. Booked a parcel collection from this company and paid £17 something for next day collection. Cancelled my hospital shift as this return was very important to be on time. Next day, Waited all day long but no one turned up. Following day when I tried to contact this company, they don’t have any contact number where I can actually talk to some one. I can contact them via chat only. Chatted to Sheila Bell who checked and said that she cannot see why the collection is not collected but issued a ticket that someone will contact you tomorrow. Day 3, waited all day again still nothing, no emails nothing at all. Contacted via chat again- Pearl something- Collection missed, you need to rebook again. What ???? This company sounds like a fraud to me. Don’t even try with this company. I’m worried if they will try to pull money from the card details that I used to pay at first. I’ve informed my bank already.

Terrible rip off merchants. No phone customer service. Obvious why. I Had an EU return which cost £48 to send. Got returned to me due to failure to deliver to customer, who was not contacted, and they charged me £150! Straight out of bank account. Other third party couriers return for free. The week previous I was charged twice for parcels which were classed oversized. Utter nonesense. I measure and weigh accurately. No chance of disputing, they get your money through your card. Do not use them. You have been warned! If I could give zero stars I would.

Do not use them. After destroying a large parcel sent to a supplier - it was a return, in exactly the same packaging as they sent the original item, and insured - they reeled out packaging guidelines and exemptions only after I claimed. Anything to wriggle out of providing customer service. PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM.

This is a scam site. Have a look at the reviews on TrustPilot too as they’re awful. They take money from your account - completely unauthorised - sometimes weeks after the initial transaction. They lost my parcel and so far have refused to reimburse either the postage or the contents. More than a dozen emails later and I’m still fighting. AVOID!

Total Scam!!!! I have completed this transaction with ParcelCompare for sending a A4size document to Turkey on Nov 23, 2023. I paid for the envelope to be delivered to the given address, receiving the signature of the recipient. I was given Nov 28rd as the possible delivery date. I have completed the form with all the required info, including recipient’s tax number. As I was tracking the document I realized that on Nov 25th that the document was held at the UK customs, saying “no tax no given”. I contacted the support line right away and sent the initial forms showing recipient’s tax no. The support center agreed with me and then there was a loong period of silence in spite of my emails asking for the outcome. By this time, I had to send the documents with DHL because the document was addressed to a client and all this put me in a very awkward position. On Dec 11th I got a reply from ParcelCompare, saying my document was given to a different courier and the recipient co should contact the new courier in Istanbul to get the document!!! At the end the document was not delivered at all. Now they are saying, it was because of the rules of Turkish customs! (This is not correct since DHL delivered the same documents in 4 days). I have used the services of this co before and I was not let down before. However now reading through some of these reviews, I think they must have gone through a major restructuring and have become a scam operation. I think they never intended to deliver, just was interested in getting the payment. I have asked for a refund and a compensation for the inconvenience caused may times but it was refused by the co. I believe they should be marked as a scam operation and their operations should be ceased.

Scam company- automatic deduction of money from account weeks after delivery for ‘parcel being incorrect size’ which it wasn’t. Avoid, currently disputing with bank for charge back.

Avoid @ all costs - you will be ripped off! Oh I wish I had looked @ these reviews before using them. Sent a parcel only to incur a 'surcharge' because according to an audit my package was outside of the dimensions / weight yet even though the results of the audit they sent me were under the specifications. This resulted in the charge being 300% of what was quoted which was £35 and then the £72 surcharge on top of that. Not only that they feel they have the freedom to just charge your card for this surcharge without my approval - essentially you are giving them free rein to charge you when they want. Don't bother trying to resolve this with their 'support' as all they do is ask you to provide 'evidence' AFTER your package has left so how can you do that. Disputing this with BarclayCard on principle - again AVOID!

They stole my £12 for a service that I never received, because I could not print the label. Stay clear of this company you have been warned. Go to the post office if you can it cost a lot less and you will get what you paid for.

It seems I read the reviews too late. 6 months after delivery of my parcel they decided I need to pay a surcharge but can’t be specific as to why. They took the money from my bank without my agreement and so I will persue this. I won’t use them again .
