“I used this company to send parcels back to South Africa via FedEx,it arrived within 4 days after they collected it in Methlick,Scotland late in the evening. It went through customs and within 45mins it was delivered to my sisters address. Honestly I was super impressed yet after a few days I got a email saying I needed to pay an extra Ā£35 due to weight adjustments, I don't know how they weight it but I'm happy I got my 22kg box safely back in South Africa. “I ordered a collection from England for a paddleboard. I made the booking online at around 8am on Friday, and the board was collected shortly after 9am, and delivered safely to myself in Scotland on the following Tuesday.
The only frustration I had was the lack of updates when trying to track the parcel but the support department replied to my e-mail within a few hours & was very helpful.”

“Paid over Ā£50 postage fee for parcel with tracking. Parcel lost /stolen within 1 day whilst in possession of carriers, tracking useless. Then instructed to make a claim and supply receipt for contents. This I did and faced many email responses stating my receipt was not valid? This I proved was incorrect and also supplied photographs of parcel, labels and serial numbers. After 1 month was told I would be refunded however 3 months later still no refund. After sending a Written Complaint by Recorded Delivery to the PO Box 658 Brentford TW8 1BS address and stating that I would be pursuing the matter by Civil Court action received a written apology and refund. This Company has communication problems both internal and external. It does not appear to have a properly structured/monitored customer service department as is evidenced by the number of reviews/complaints made online. I can only advise unhappy clients to be persistent and not give in to the time wasting responses/methods used by some personnel. Many reviews state that there is No Contact telephone number, this is correct, however if you keep emailing someone will respond eventually. In the end send a letter to the Company as already mentioned or to the Managing Director or Directors details of which are readily available on the internet including their registered personal addresses. This may give them the incentive to improve their service and prove they are a respectable Company.....good luck.”

“Where to start? We were charged what we thought was a fair price for shipping a piece of furniture. Item was picked up and taken to shipping facility. Weight was within 2 kg of described weight. 2 days later, the item was delivered back to us, and Parcelcompare unilaterally took Ā£120.00 out of our account for "Large Parcel Surcharge". so we essentially paid over Ā£180.00 to have a package picked up, weighed and returned to us!!! No amount of correspondence can get the Parcecompare agent to understand the issue. They continually get us to try and dispute the weight which in my view would give them an out to refunding our charges. We will never use these scammers ever again. Wish I could give less than 1 star!!!”
“I used this company to send documents to Canada. When making the booking it generated label and declared that as it was documents no further customs paperwork would be needed. I tried to drop it to a drop off location for courier and they couldnāt accept because it apparently needed 3 copies of commercial invoices which I did not have obviously. I then arranged collection instead and item was collected then I received an email from courier to say missing invoice causing delay. Parcel Compare were useless in helping. Would never use them again and donāt advise anyone to. Better to do direct with the courier company.”

My parcel took 10 days to arrive at it's final destination and UPS damaged it. It travelled up and down the M6 daily (sometimes twice a day) while they tried to send it back to the sender (me) who didn't want it, and wanted it to continue back to the receiver damaged or otherwise as it was not mine to keep!!
Parcel Compare were of no help when this was going on at all only replying to 2 emails.
However, once UPS had delivered the (now damaged) parcel I have heard from them almost daily demanding the princely sum of Ā£14 for being oversized (an amount I had already paid on the original invoice), apparently because I asked for it to be resent I have to pay this again..... but not the cost of the delivery again.
I have tried to explain to numerous people that I no longer have contact with the recipient so cannot get photos of the damage (I had asked UPS to provide them but they didn't) but they have been insistent that I do so so they can make a claim for the damage which I have explained that I don't want to do, I just don't see that I should be paying further money for what has become a complete nightmare.
You can't speak to anyone on the phone and it is down to the customer service representative if they allow you to speak with a manager or not (they decided that I was not worthy). The different departments do not speak to each other so you have to repeat yourself and there is no way of sending a direct email so you can include more that one person.
I have had a complete nightmare over the past 5 weeks, they have no concern or care for their customers at all, I have wasted more hours that I care to calculate on this and this has caused me more stress than anyone needs.
Like others have said, I wish I had read the reviews before ever entering into an agreement with his bunch of greedy boys with their bullying tactics.”
“We booked a return delivery via UPS through Parcel Compare. Iām a qualified tradesman and accurately measured my parcels. Paid Ā£165 for it to be delivered 160 miles. A week later we get an invoice for Ā£2206 !!!!! for surcharges saying we were oversized. Total fabrication. I even have photos , evidence from the company I bought from. Their packages are always the same size and they send hundreds of these packages out daily. My measurements said 126 cm, Parcel Compare have said they were 294cm !!
Totally impossible. They are now threatening to take us to court unless we pay. Absolute bullying at the highest level. Please do not use this company EVER, you will seriously regret it.”
“A carefully weighed consignment, properly packaged. I was quoted Ā£50.55 via UPS, and once delivered, a further payment lo Ā£54.42 taken from my account before I was notified! Allegedly the consignment was over 20kg heavier than I had stated. If that was the case I would not have been able to carry the thing out to the collection truck. Nothing I can do, apparently! Absolutely no help from Parcelcompare. I suggest the reader of this feedback look elsewhere.”

The worst company I have ever had the horror of doing a transaction with.
I paid Ā£200 for a parcel to be delivered to St Lucia with express delivery.
The Courier didnāt arrive on the day arranged and I was guaranteed that the courier would arrive the following day and they still didnāt know. No one hot back to me regarding compensation for the fact that the parcel would inevitably arrive late, although I paid for next day delivery.
Although the collection was booked for a bank holiday, I was guaranteed by parcel compare that the courier would arrive. However they did not
I spoke to them via their live chat function, and their customer service representatives were the most unhelpful I have ever come across in the balance of my life. They told me there was no guaranteed date for collections. It is just a gauge to go by.
How can there be no guaranteed collection date, but a guaranteed delivery date?
After the courier hadnāt arrived for two days, I made contact with FedEx myself, and they were unable to help book for a courier collection and suggested that I take the parcel to a FedEx drop-off point, which I did.
I was incredibly frustrated as I had paid for a collection and somebody had been waiting indoors for two days.
When I took the parcel to the FedEx drop off, the barcode was not recognised although scanned five times.
This company operate daylight robbery, and I am so disappointed that I did not read the reviews before carrying out the transaction.
Iām going to attach a few photos and it might seem a bit much, but honestly, the level of ridiculousness within the conversation with their customer service team is honestly mind boggling.”
