“Desperate.. do not bother with the 48 hour gauranteed worldwide delivery. In fact avoid this company all together if you want an efficient service! Plus their customer service are a bunch of ignoramuses!”
“Couldn't find address even though on a main road. After 2 attempts the driver didn't even load parcel onto van to try again. Ended up returning to seller. Pathetic service.”
“our new company signed up to their 48 hr parcel service's the very first parcel they delivered was badly damaged and cost our company £2000.00
their customer service is terrible and dont really care about it”
“Delivered to a safe place without leaving a note where that was, and at the same time had someone sign for reception. They thus clearly misdelivered but told us it is OUR risk if THEY misdeliver. Horrible.”
“Parcelforce deserves f**** zero stars! Draging on with delivery, saying bunch of lies in mails and over the phone, parcel never being delivered even after almost two months, and customer advisers should be renamed to customer service morons who are extremely rude and who actually give away the actuall attitude of the Parcelforce as a company as if they knew more about customer service - they would have trained their employees to LISTEN and HEAR the customer, not to interrupt each and every sentence and tell off to a customer!!!!! My God I wish those same advisers to go through same situation in life so they can feel how it feels to treated the way they treat customers!! Karma is a bitch so - what goes arround comes arround Parcelforce!”
“Over 2 weeks to clear customs (ever other courier DHL/DPD/UPS/FED EX does this in a matter of hours fully automated but these jokers take over 2 weeks. then they leave the parcel in the depot as "someone forgot to update you'd paid your customs duty" So after hours of calls I'm told it's being delivered on Friday..but oh no "we can't fid it!" then they do fond it and guarantee a Saturday delivery...needless to say it didn't get delivered on Saturday.
This lot really are unfit for purpose, utterly beggars belief how shoddy they are. i'd hazard a guess their tech is way way behind as well. Avoid at all costs "ABPF"# (anyone but parcelforce)”
“My parcel was tracked to arrive Glasgow depot on 2/10. On the system it says that there is insufficient address, but the fact is I have pasted a very obvious piece of A4 paper stating my name, address, phone number and email. I did not get any call to reconfirm the address until I found it out myself. So i called them to arrange a delivery on Friday (6/10). Waited whole day at home receiving nothing, I call ParcelForce and they said they dont know why but the parcel is not out for delivery. So we arranged another redelivery on Monday (8/10). Waited whole at home again receiving nothing, I call them, and they say sorry they lost it.
Because it is an import parcel, they say I can only claim the compensation from the import country. It was a 11kg big box with all my important books, documents and clothes. This is clearly ParcelForce's fault and mistake but I can do nothing but just crying for losing the parcel. In conclusion, I paid 150 pounds of postage just to lose a thousand pound worth of parcel. ParcelForce doesn't deserve even a star.”
“Parcelforce said they tried to deliver but I was in. No card put through the door and parcel was left at post office. Post office will not release the parcel without a delivery card.”
“Im buying constantly off ebay, and 3 times my items were send via Parcelforce - never arrived without problems. My London address might be difficult but somehow any other company manage to deliver but not this one.
My first package was signed by a random plumber, accidentally working in this building and was left on staircase (it was a laptop), second was signed most likely by courier himself and left at the staircase where third wasnt even delivered and still in process of searching for it - the fact that you can't talk to anyone but machine doesnt make it simpler. From now on i will always advise my sellers, not to use this company!!!”
“Asked them to delivery a parcel on their 48 hour service. It was delivered on time but to completely the wrong address a couple of miles down the road and left no card so that the recipient could locate it. Took me about a day to track it down and in all this time, ParcelForce did not issue an apology and I’m still trying to get my money back!! Don’t use.”
“A parcel from abroad was in the country for a whole month before I got it. Out of four attempted deliveries, only one driver left a card. The website information was incorrect and contradictory. Staff members made promises to leave notes in the file, contact a driver, or call me back. None of this appears to have happened. The parcel bounced between Basingstoke depot and a local post office several times. A female member of staff final solved it by calling a driver at home for information. Apart from her, the service from staff and drivers was appalling.”
“You can’t even find an address if it requires a driver to ask or even walk a few yards. And you expect a person to stay in for days waiting until you decide when to deliver. Never again”
“received text to say delivery between 12.33 and 13.33, never arrived, no contact from company, so when I called them, they could not help. still do not know what has happened to parcel. shocking service.”
“all previous comments are correct!! avoid! they dont bother calling you if you are not home and they expect of you to stay all day home to take the parcel..
This company is going down and I am happy with this. I am WARNING you NOT to use parcelforce”
“Avoid like the plague. You're told one thing on social media, another on the phone and yet another face to face. They ignore your requests in regards to collection. The poorest excuse for customer service I've EVER encountered.”
“I sent a parcel from the UK to South Afica on 12 September with a promised delivery date of 3-5 working days. It is now 5 October and the parcel has still not arrived. What makes matters even worse is that the best Parcelforce in the UK can do for me is to tell me to phone the agent in South Africa. ABSOLUTELY USELESS!”
“After sitting around and waiting all day for my parcel, I saw a Parcelforce van drive into my street and park outside of my flat. The driver then literally sat inside his van for 1-2 minutes before leaving the street, making no attempt to deliver the parcel, no attempt to contact me by phone and no attempt to leave behind a calling card. This was around 1745hrs so it was near the end of the driver’s shift and it was rather clear to me that couldn’t be bothered doing his job. I’ve seen many similar complaints to this one. It’s hard to put into words just how pathetic Parcelforce are. Please avoid Parcelforce and use a proper courier firm like DPD who actually value their customers.”
“I had a very bad Parcelforce experience in July, when my father's birthday present which had been sent as a next day delivery turned up two weeks late and I was only given a 50% refund after much form-filling/calling different people. Yesterday, I waited in all afternoon for a parcel that was supposed to be delivered between 15.40 and 16.40. Still no sign of it and the second delivery slot this morning that appeared briefly on the tracking page has been and gone. Really shocking service.”
“This is a horrible scam of a company and should be shut down. I am going to see if a class action suit can be filed against them to reimburse all the people they have ripped-off and shut their doors for good.
USE FEDEX -- NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
I also paid for express service, then was stunned that the parcel didn't seem to be expediting as it should be. I called their customer service. Although I paid for express service, they said it had been "downgraded" to priority service, and no-one could tell me why or how this happened. This was something that absolutely positively had to be at its destination for a closing. Just one piece of paper.
I got 2 different stories when I called twice. One said it was tied up in customs "could be 10 minutes, could be 5 days. I have no idea." And would be delivered by FEDEX. Another said no it wasn't tied up in customs, it was "one of thousands being sorted, and they would get to it." He didn't know when. He didn't know why it was downgraded. They should be put out of business.”
