I have made a mistake. I choose 2 gifts but allocated the opposite $ amounts intended. So the Art gift was supposed to get $300 and the community project $100. I realised my error immediately but not fast enough so I am waiting to hear back from patchwork to see if it’s possible to change it.

When I tried to pay for 4 of the same item it only billed me for 1. I had a lot of trouble working out how to get it to accept the 3 more I had to add seperately. Frustrating and time consuming.

When you have clicked on an item from a patchwork you can simply multiply it in "my basket" until you have the number required. I think it would be a lot better if you could just reveal all the costs without having to go through them one by one. As it is it feels clunky. If you can reveal the costs in one go, and I didn't notice it on the mobile site, you should make that clearer (or behind a single click if it's on some sub menu or something).

Thanks for your feedback Samuel, which is genuinely appreciated. We are currently in the process of of a mobile site redesign and this is high on our priority list of things to improve to make the experience of choosing a gift sleeker and faster for mobile site users. The desktop site is quite different as the costs are revealed as you scroll over the patches, but we appreciate many of our users are on mobile and so we are prioritising these updates. found the site easy to use and I paid for my present easily. on trying to use another card to send a gift on behalf of my mother who has dementia it would not work and I have power of attorney for her, and the card is in my name?? so I question why?? never had any probs using this card on the internet before

On mobile, I had to tap twice to add item to my basket - almost didn't purchase a gift! But otherwise a really lovely and simple app to use.

Initially I didn't want to use paypal which made the site very tricky to use. I tried to put my payment through three times which was frustrating. However, once I went ahead with paypal it was very straightforward. The call to action for the basket is not obvious enough and I ended up putting the same things in my basket a few times. However, a customer service representative called Rosie was VERY helpful. She was really quick to respond and sort out any issues that I had and also very friendly. Therefore, I'd say my experience of the site was poor but Rosie made the overall experience of Patchwork a good one.

Colourful but confused as to why our ‘gifts’ were still on the website after we’d bought them... would have been useful to have had a ‘1 of 10’ or something so we knew how many others had bought the same thing...

Thanks for your feedback Gemma and Jamie, Many of our users ask for money towards amazing experiences and the patches can sometimes be priced to represent a proportion of that experience rather than the whole thing. In this way, the gift list is accessible to all guests and can provide items to suit all budgets. For this reason, most couples choose to leave each patch open to be funded multiple times. If the couple end up receiving more than they expected they are free to add extra experiences or choose something extra to treat themselves to! A patchworkit.com gift registry is therefore completely flexible and entirely controlled by the couple themselves. We hope this helps to explain the way the site works a little more :)

I love this format, and hope registries everywhere continue to move in this direction. My hope was to make a simple and quick transaction using my credit card, but after 4 attempts (and filling out the info & note each time), I processed it through PayPal. A small issue, to be sure, but I would have loved for this to have taken less time.

Didn’t work first time even though put correct details in, also PayPal was in command and although I tried to pay with visa I eventually had to pay with PayPal My daughter then tried to go onto your site and it didn’t work (different computer as well)

There is a lack of information on how to use the site. We wanted to add a message and spent ages trying to see how to do so - a note saying you do it at the end would help.

The way that the site works is that the creators of the gift list actually choose both the images and write the wording themselves, so I'm afraid we don't have control over the descriptions given to the items. You should also be able to zoom in on images with most devices! Best wishes, Team Patchwork

Actually I found it frustrating. Every time I clicked on an item to be put in the basket it appeared to be in the basket yet when I clicked on basket, it was empty. I had to use a different iPad.
