“Lost my Tilley Hat in Spain last year and needed to replace it. Arrived fairly quickly and very well packaged. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from this company again. Thank you.”

“I've bought three pairs of Loake shoes/boots from Pediwear and have largely been extremely satisfied. My only gripe and reason for not giving a "very good" rating is the lack of protective packaging and choice of delivery company. I like to keep my shoes in their original boxes (Loake have such lovely boxes), sadly both boxes have been damaged. I returned one pair for reasons of personal taste, nothing wrong with them per se and that's where Pediwear really demonstrated great service, taking them back without any fuss and issued a refund promptly.”

Dear Mr Bishop Thank you for leaving a review and for your kind comments despite the problems with damage to the boxes. We send out many shoes in the UK and fortunately we very rarely experience problems with the packaging being damaged. I can only imagine that you have been particularly unlucky. I wonder if I could suggest that when you next place an order please leave in the comments 'to be wrapped as an international parcel - as discussed with Mike Small'. This will ensure your parcel receives some additional packaging and hopefully the boxes will then arrive intact. I too keep my shoes in their boxes (since my collection overflowed from my wardrobe into the office) so I know the value of intact boxes for storing shoes. “I've purchased a few times from Pediwear. Always found them helpful and they price competitively. One issue I do have - if something isn't in stock then don't try and sell it. I recently purchased a pair of shoes or at least thought I did until I was told a few days later they had to be ordered as they were out of stock. Plus it would be two months until they could be shipped.”

We do try to ensure our website is as up to date as possible with regarding to availability. In order to offer the widest choice possible to our customers we offer everything we have in stock in addition to shoes which we believe to be available from our suppliers at short notice. Many of our suppliers provide an excellent stock service which enables us to obtain shoes within 1 -2 days. Unfortunately from time to time their stock runs out and at present we have no way of knowing this until we discover it at the time of ordering. Fortunately items not being in stock either with us or the supplier is a rare occurrence - and if you are ever in need of shoes at short notice please do feel free to call us or use our live chat facility during office hours to check availability. “Excellent Service. However, having ordered from India, it was difficult for me to check the fit, so I took a chance with G. I now find that I should have gone for a H fit. I suggest you should have some system in place to guide International customers on foot fit and size based on various brands you are marketing.”

“Customer service was excellence. My wife bought the TWC6 (wide brim) but finds it disappointing - the material is floppy, and neither the brim nor the crown keep its shape. I bought the classic T5, and that's entirely different. Very pleasant to wear, keeps it s shape. It's going to be my friend for life! But, as I say, customer service was first class. “Although Pediwear's website is one of the ugliest, their range of shoes and customer care is awesome. I have made a couple of purchases of Barkers and Grenson and I am pleased both with the shoes and the overall shopping experience. I often recommend my firends to visit Pediwear.co.uk. What can Pediwear improve? - Make the website more appealing - Use DHL for deliveries to Sweden. UPS is specialized in corporate deliveries and thier consumer services are very poor.”

Please ask us to quote you for delivery via DHL on your next order and we will endeavour to send via your preferred courier. We use couriers based on their services and reputation in addition to the cost. In general we find that Swedish customers are very happy with their service, but if you have encountered problems we will see if we can offer a similar rate via DHL. Recommendation for multiple shoe pairs order charge freight costs p/weight of the package and not p/pair of shoes. ( 20 pounds for 2 pair of shoes is these days to much from UK to Holland) Sir Frans Dingerdis”
