“Good quality shoes as can be expected from Barker, for a reasonable price (could not get particular product cheaper elsewhere online). Delivery times were reasonable and although I had to chase, the communication was excellent and they were immediately dispatched for next day delivery. Packaging and condiments with shoes is a nice touch and will ensure that the shoes will last longer. Overall, impressed with quality and customer service, thanks and I'll be back again!”

We're sorry you had to chase your pair but I'm glad that everything was dealt with quickly once you did. “My wife had previously ordered a pair of Loake Chatterley ladies boots and I have to admit I was quite jealous of them so I managed to find on your website the gents equivalent quite easily and as a bonus with a discount !! I have to say both pairs were delivered promptly and in perfect condition including the packaging. I had my reservations having received items before from other companies that the packaging had become damaged and the contents had been damaged. I wouldn't hesitate in ordering further products from yourselves as you have provided a first class service and I am partial to ordering the odd pair of shoes or three...... Keep up the good work. We share your wife's and your own love of Loakes - they are a truly excellent brand and a credit to English shoemaking. I'm glad that your boots arrived in good shape - we pack the boxes in additional cardboard to try to ensure that the boxes are undamaged in transit. While very occasional damages of boxes do occur, our policy of using additional cardboard is usually successful. “Great price on a long desired pair of classic DM's. Rapidly delivered and when they arrived and turned out to be the wrong size (my fault) Pediwear were extremely helpful in resolving the situation via the correct sized replacement. Thankyou. Thoroughly recommended.”

I have looked into this matter - the delay was due to being very busy during the first part of our sale. However we should have advised you better, since it should have been evident that there would have been a delay. “Bought 2 pair of Laokes 1880. Good value compared to Allen Edmonds , Alden even with shipping. 1st pair arrived with. Shoe horn, suede brush and 10% auto discount in next order. 2nd pair ordered 3 days after 1st , arrived with no extras and the 10% disc was not applied”
